She gave a reasoned, sane, researched and factually backed speech for which she deserves the highest compliments! It was good to know that the spirit is still alive in the Senate.

BTW, anyone has the transcripts?

Very scary thought since they have abandoned reason. Even himmary is saying that unless THEY get a majority this November, civil behavior will be impossible from the liberals. I thought that creepy porn lawyer Avenatti wanted to physically fight trumps son

Maybe this means if deplorable keep winning, the liberals will just launch into civil war, v2. In the streets with Hillary as commander in chief and general Maxine propping her up

I take it that you won't be attending any of the Clintons' expensive speaking engagements that they will be holding over the next months. How uncivil of you.

The president said she was nor getting it. He reminded us he knew she was not getting it during the campaign.

Yes, it appears everyone is aware she is not getting it. The left is not getting it.

But they are hell-bent letting us know they are not getting it daily. We are paying the price.

The MSM reports regularly what H Clinton said. Yesterday she was all over the news, even FOX was showing her talking about uncivility. Yes, she is a right person to endeavor that, chastising the country. That is what she wants. When will FOX learn that we don't want to see/hear her. I had to switch channels to avoid being exposed to her drivel. I could care less what she says/does.

There's an ancient story passed down illustrating this. That is, when Satan got thrown out of heaven for being a complete jerk, "she" had a huge temper tantrum. LOL!

Yes, the metro areas in Texas all voted for Hitlery in 2016. So did most metro areas in the US with a few exceptions like Jacksonville FL and Kansas City, iirc. Trump won in 2700 counties; Hitlery won in about 400 counties mostly urban with higher populations.

This miserable old hag. She doubles down instead of shutting up. That is also typical of the left: they never learn. Defeats only incite their more aggressive selves.

Politicians on the left are unable to part with their real or perceived power. You don't see that on the right.

When their time is over, you think thank God I won't have to see/hear him/her again.

No such luck. Obama is still around. The Clintons are around. And the MSM gladly reminds us by posting their photos all over the place.

    It never ends.

That may not be a good way, either.

Take Texas for example. A deeply conservative State in and out.

However, many Californians targeted Texas for some time. After all even the left can see what taxes and State government can do, and California under Brown has become dangerously similar to a communist state.

So what Happens? They move to Texas and take their destructive thinking with them. They can't shed that, it is worse than second skin.

The result is an increasingly blue Texas.

Yes, I was thinking of this, too.

But the fact remains the right is reluctant to sink to the left's tactics b/c everyone knows it means equating themselves with the left. In all likelihood, the left would sink to new lows after that, and there will be no stopping.

Nonetheless, I was pleased to see Graham, Grassly and McConnell lash out at them at the Kavanaugh hearing. Looked like the GOP is beginning to fight and develop a backbone, rather than caving in

She's (Hillary) insignificant, the left needs to learn this, she needs to learn this. But someone has to teach her, she's incapable of learning it herself. The left only seems to learn from similar tactics that they themselves use. Maybe the right needs to do a little similar styled retaliation, like yell at them in a restaurant when they are out with their families. Or maybe even talking to them sanely while they are out with their families, asking them politely how they might like it if you made some kind of obscene scene. Those that can't/won't denounce these personal attacks are just as guilty of what should be a crime as those that perpetuate it. We all already know that Hillary is a "bitch", she always has been, and she'll never change.

The left is behaving worse than the demonstrators that greeted us upon my return from fighting for them in Vietnam. You can't say, "Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do", because they don't believe in a God, or so they tell us. I'm old enough that I'd even volunteer to fight if it comes down to that. They have to be stopped. Has anyone noticed there actually are some representatives (senate and congress) that are hiding out, keeping their mouths shut, probably because they have no backbone. I think we need to bring it all down to a vote, let's see where those that represent us stand. If it's coming down to war, let's get it on and over with. And maybe I'll feel better tomorrow.

Yeah. The problem is that the neighbor on the right is a host, and the neighbor on the other side is a parasite. How to separate the country at this point? Maybe state by state. I would be willing to move

We are already in an electoral civil war with half the population calling the other half "deplorables". Once the deplorables wake up and realize its a war out there and start acting like it, I think we will stop talking and start looking for ways to split the country into two parts.

I have been expecting this division to pin the two sides against each other, physically, for some time.

Is it possible that a spark would inflame the nation?

When you watch the unhinged left scream and blast like after the Kavanaugh nomination, not much more is needed for physical violence.

The only reason it is not progressing that far is the common sense on the right.

They call "Civil War" when half the population can't agree with the other half and can't resolve their differences. Actually I don't believe the left actually believes in what they spew from their mouths (some of it), it is only a threatening behavior put forth in an attempt to get their power back. They are trying to be Trumpian but remain Obamaian in their failures. It will all backfire regardless which way they go.

I would be just fine with Sarah but her kids are an anchor on her ass. Their crap might fly in Alaska but it will give the left a very large punching bag.

And guess who's looking to challenge Murkowski?

Sarah Palin. Man, would I love to see that happen.

Thoroughly researched, logical, cogent and persuasive to thinking people, Collins' oratory is probably the most highly rejected speech in the history of the Democrat Party.

I was surprised to hear that from a senator who has been historically viewed as a moderate pretty much against Trump

Murkowsky is just another politician who is more concerned with her own political future than the future of the country. That came through loud and clear when she basically said that Kavanaugh was going to get enough votes without hers, so she would vote NO and skip the pounding from the left. I got the message loud and clear
