"I feel that my government has failed me as a taxpayer and as a federal employee. I feel that Congress should be totally abolished," she said. "I don't blame the president at all. But the entire legislative branch is just dysfunctional."
I think she just said she wants a dictator.
Anyway... let's take a yay or nay vote:
Do you think most gov workers understand what caused their sudden temporary unemployment?

Many others (800k federal civilians, roughly 500k dod contractors) are using their vacation hours right now. Some have hours to burn, some not so lucky. Depending on how long this BS goes on, it's looking like Thanksgiving and Christmas will be tough, and most people will be working the day after Thanksgiving or the day after Christmas because they will burn through most of the hours saved.

The idiots in congress will have it coming back to them, election year 2014...we who got impacted will not forget this. You know the saying about paybacks...

Um, yeah, It's called Personal Time Off. Otherwise, it could be Leave Without Pay. In about a week, that's what I'm facing.

Sure. Yesterday, here was the bottom line and the last words from my customer in the mass email: "We do not know how long this will last."

Oh the weather (political) outside is frightful, but inside (home) is so delightful....
