I meant "you're not". I was shocked I omitted the word. I almost wonder if someone hacked it, but I'm sure it was just me. I do not think anything of the sort about khalling.

I meant you're NOT angry depressed, stupid, or paranoid. I see no signs of that whatsoever. Omitting that one word changed the whole tenor of what I meant. Sorry about that.

I call that policy, very closely related to policy. Policy is are the rules you're talking about. I don't know a quick definition for politics, but it's the reason why people people were protesting regularly against President Bush, and it stopped when Obama was elected even if he does the same thing. It's Democracy Now starting with the premise Republicans are bad and looking for evidence. It's the mainstream corporate media doing the same thing to Democrats. Reasonable people want the facts, but they're are so many people with self-interested reasons to cause you to get fired up and make logical errors.

Where did this come from...because the boy is different than you, he must have a parent on obamacare...wtf.. The kid has a drive, like all children do until they are brainwashed...this rant may be a personal vendetta, but it has no place on the gulch. I know what you are talking about, all those fricken forms that you have to fill out if you are an employer... I said, To hell with it when my school taxes were raised, first vote was defeated and a month later, they could revote....by people who don't have to contribute, but are allowed to vote to STEAL my earnings...closed my shop and Galted...that's right...and I think it is the only way to fight back..Ayn Rand had the right idea...quit feeding them...and by the way, I was very successful by my own mind and hard work.

An illustration of the potential in the human spirit. I love this kid. His disability might actually become the best thing to ever happen to him. By overcoming that, he may realize that there are few if any things that he can't overcome.

    Thanks, K.
Sometimes I get to wondering if my strength can hold up until the next election and then you post this little spitfire who was a "born to overcome" type.

I am not interested in this game. I respond directly to your comments. I do not see you as a "type." So if the above rant was to "sum me up " then check your premises. I posted this illustrating the power of human drive, inventiveness, and self. That is all.

Well the umbrella of politics casts its shadow over HOW you pour that steel, who you can sell the steel to, where you can keep the steel, and when you may take your earnings.

    I love it.

I realized something after becoming a father. I remembered growing up going to church. In a protestant church (probably like any other) we were told that we're born sinners, weak and unpure. Nothing could be further from the truth. We are born pure, our true spirits shining. We just get f*cked up via this society we've created, shitty parents, etc. Look at this kid. That's a pure person. I have spent a lot of time around kids with autism. Imagine that for a second...coming down with an ailment by the time you're this boy's age that affects you neurologically. I watched many kids struggle and work like mad, age 2 or 3, to break through the haze. Seeing that woke me up, and gave me clarity on the human condition.

Sounds like this boy's mind is strong. He's got a real fighting chance.

Try to detect a picoamp of current in a photo-diode in a crime-lab spectrometer with politics.

Or try to pour a ton of steal. I've never done that, but I imagine the same principle applies.

No b/c you post things like this, so you're angry, depressed, stupid, or paranoid.

If you were it would go something like this: "Here is more propaganda that Obamacare works. That kid won't be able to pay for followup treatment b/c poor monetary policy will raise prices of everything except for whatever that kid's parents happen to do for a living. Everything's going to the devil, and it's all part of a scheme to benefit those who look/act different from me. Why do you think some jet contrails last longer than others, hey? We'll I see through it! I'm close to being a genius like Roark, Hank, or Dagny. I could provide millions of dollars of value if it weren't for having to fill out 940s, 941, W-3, W-2s, RoHS complaince certs, etc. Those things are all a conspiracy to reduce us to a bronze age existence. I keep telling people how utterly foolish they are and to wake up you stupid morons, but inexplicably I never got promoted, found new clients, or built any wealth. When my employer selected me for early retirement, I decided just to go Galt and live off Social Security, some VA benefits, and Medicare as soon as I'm eligible. Now I'll just stay home and watch our impending doom on cable news. I simply can't go on producing for Moochers who decadently want some gov't program to provide for them. All my amazing productive capacity is going to waste b/c I refuse to feed the Obama machine!"

What would a hard-core Democratic Freedom Caucus high-tech Pollyanna say?

    I love that video.

If I had seen this three years ago on an Ayn Rand board, I would have thought "wait what does this have to do with being angry, scared, and depressed and turning everything into politics."

Seriously, I love new medical technologies, and I esp love little kids benefit ting and showing such determination.
