I think that either Obama pardons her, as seems to be in the air or the new AG (Rudy is a good choice) instructs the career law enforcement people to do their job and acts on the recommendations.

There will be a tendency to let her off to avoid looking like retribution, but running for high office should not be a get-out-of-jail free card.

As I understand it, by accepting a pardon you admit guilt for the crimes you are being pardoned for. She may be too arrogant to do that.

I don't remember Nixon admitting guilt. The pardon, itself, was non-specific. The operative paragraph is:

"As a result of certain acts or omissions occurring before his resignation from the Office of President, Richard Nixon has become liable to possible indictment and trial for offenses against the United States. Whether or not he shall be so prosecuted depends on findings of the appropriate grand jury and on the discretion of the authorized prosecutor. Should an indictment ensue, the accused shall then be entitled to a fair trial by an impartial jury, as guaranteed to every individual by the Constitution."

Giuliani was almost salivating on Fox as he talked about the prospect of going after the Clintons if he were the AG. If he's still at the top of his game, there is no one any better to get the job(s) done. As the prosecutor in NY and subsequently mayor, there was no one better than he was at incisively shredding the miscreants and their expensive lawyers into quivering mounds of beaten flesh.
    (How's that for imagery?)

There are far worse things for the Clinton's other than prosecution, like irrelevance. They are no longer in position to sell the country for their own profit. No one will be interested in paying exorbitant sums to hear Bill or Hillary speak, just to hear them speak. No one will hire Chelsea, with no experience, for $500k because mommy and daddy no longer matter. No one will donate $12 million to the Clinton Foundation because there's no influence to buy. No one will invest big bucks in Marc Mezvinsky's hedge fund because there will be no more insider information passed from Hillary's state department - it will be interesting to track the fund (Eaglevale Partners) to see if it is still in existence in a year from now.

On this episode of the Twilight Zone, the Clinton's have met their match in a little town called Obscurity!

The evidence against the Clinton Foundation should be gathered and presented. Then 80% of the monies gathered by that foundation should be taken from it and put into the federal treasury.
Our nation, the patient, is in critical condition. Trump the surgeon doesn't have priority to deal with this. The Clintons should be publicly disgraced, then pardoned.

My list of outgoing officials who need prosecuting is substantial, and Clinton is on it but not at the top.

    1. Obama, for arrogating to himself and using powers he didn't legitimately possess. In particular, expanding EPA's writ to cover CO2 and redefining labor law to allow franchising companies such as McDonalds to be forced to unionize by people who don't even work for them. Also for corruption involving ACORN and the other 200 organizations at that house in Baton Rouge.

    2. Eric Holder, both for letting the New Black Panthers off after they were convicted of intimidating voters (there's your rigged election!) and for the fiasco known as Fast & Furious.

    3. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, as the brains behind the evil and unconstitutional Dodd-Frank bill, CFPB, and Operation Choke Point.

    4. Lois Lerner and others at the IRS, both for discriminating against conservative groups and for the coverup that has followed that behavior.

    5. Hillary, for Benghazi and for lying about it afterward. (The latter charge should also be brought against that mouthpiece who told us the attack was in response to a video about Muhammad.) Also for corruption -- and be sure to include the Clinton Foundation in any such probe and seize its assets!

I must add that I believe Giuliani is a horrible choice for AG, because of his instigation of and support for the unacceptable and unconstitutional practice called "stop-and-frisk".

An Ambassador died because of her negligence. She let any number of hackers into her classified email because it was too much trouble to use 2 addresses - at least that is what I see reported. This should be investigated!!!

Was it negligence or a decision to sacrifice the lives in an attempt to prevent the disclosure that Benghazi was being used to smuggle guns to Syrian rebels - many of whom were with al Qaeda and ISIS?

No One Is Above Prosecution. That's the moral of the story from this past Tuesday. If she's innocent (I doubt it) she'll walk away "Scott Free". Don't spend a trillion dollars to prove she J-walked back in 1976, but there's a lot of questions out there that I think need some explanations.

Scot free. Origins skat from the Scandinavian word for tax.Migrated to Great Britain and became Scot . Scot free to get away without paying a tax.

As I have said the truth will prevail . But a full pardon will halt a deep comprehensive disclosure of the tenicles and web of deceit exposing ALL the participants.

Not sure. The problem is the FBI already clear Clinton Twice. If the Trump administration does prosecute Clinton for for the email thing then the FBI will have to explain the why now? I doubt they will have a good answer.

The FBI doesn't issue indictments, the (new) DOJ would/could do it, without a corrupt Loretta Lynch blocking it. To keep it clean, the new admin could simply appoint a special prosecutor to impartially dig up facts, including from the FBI, with or without “Jimmy the Weasel” in charge.

If Obama issues her a non-specific pardon, the issue is moot. The Clinton Foundation investigation by the FBI and the IRS may result in indictment of minor players, but I doubt the Clinton family will bear any consequences. She's now just a distasteful footnote in history, so let Trump get on with the real business of the country.

I would have no problem with dropping the email issue if she had not violated the security of the country so egregiously. Selling the State Department via the Clinton Foundation is even worse. I don't see Obama pardoning her as that would further taint his "legacy" and, narcissist that he is, he wouldn't want to make it worse than it already is. If he doesn't pardon her, then full speed ahead on prosecution. If she doesn't have to follow the law, then no one else does either.

Hillary can't run again. She is a 2 time loser. The Democrats no longer have to provide cover for her and Bill because she won't be in a position to retaliate against them. I think it's possible Giuliani may make the case that the existing evidence is enough to prosecute and convict and Trump will pardon her. That should neuter them for good.
