I have this disturbingly nagging intuitive feeling (Spidey-sense) ...

I have been observing over the last year or two, approaching Obama stepping down from power, that these "spontaneous" "passion-driven" outbreaks of violence seem to be occurring with alarmingly increasing frequency and intensity - Trump-related being just small more recent examples. Almost all of them have been executed/incited by leftist organizations and/or their pet constituencies of victim populations.

I am NOT a Conspiracist in general, BUT my paranoia (or is it?) is that they are being staged deliberately - in order to set the stage for invoking "temporary" martial law as expanded by Obama's recent relatef EO.

Any one else getting that?

I haven't followed it, but I went to several demonstrations for peace in 2002 in front of MacDill Airforce Base in Tampa. The police ushered people for peace or war to opposite side of the street. They would sometimes chant and yell, but the police carefully kept everyone on their side of the street. I never saw anyone get violent at all. I saw one person get very threatening because he thought we were not supportive of his brother who was away at war. Once of the peace protesters explained to him that were criticizing decisions of the civilian leadership, not the military, and he calmed down. People really behaved well. I wish we could have more of that.

I think that when you have a government that takes from one to give to others, its a formula for violence. The entitled people dont want to lose their sugar daddy government, and the people who work for a living are tired of having their money stolen and given to the entitled ones.
In this case, it was the entitled ones fearing that Trump is going to kick the establishment in the butt and they might lose their entitlements.

The sixties and seventies were worse, much worse (so far), particularly in the San Francisco Bay Area, ground central for all things leftist.
Upon release from active duty as a naval officer, I went to graduate school at Stanford, and that spring of 1970 was very violent, and it was amazing to see how the lefties would provoke and destroy. There were a number of ex-military in my group, and when the sit-ins occurred to attempt to shut down the campus, our classrooms were the only ones open, since the brainless idiots had no idea who they were dealing with. We fought our way into the classrooms, left a number of bloody noses and shattered egos, and went about our classes at the instigation of our professor. Quite a time. Now the brainless idiots are running the country.

I think this is also a result of the 24hr news cycle. They need to seem relevant in order to get viewers and 'if it bleeds it leads'. So while I assume these protests have remained relatively the same, it is just the angle from which it is being reported that has changed. And when you get story after story about how much discord is happening, you start believing it is on the increase even though it has remained relatively the same year after year.

Mostly illegals participating. Things have changed. Immigrants used to come here for freedoms, now they come for freebies. When someone proposes stopping stealing from the producers and rewarding the non-productives there is anger and violence. Not only will there be no repercussions, they will be regarded as heroic in some communities and portrayed as such in some media.

govt can't justify getting bigger to keep us "safe" if there is no violence...so it "balkanizes" us into groups like tectonic plates that "rub" against each other creating friction (violence) and gives govt the justification to step in and rule everyone for their own good...hiel Hitlary...

The answer is simple: if you subscribe to any view with which I do not agree, then I have the right to riot...

Were you people not paying attention to the Occupy Movement? Or any of the coverage of "Black Lives Matter" riots? The "protesters" at Trump events have previously been given their green light. And the Marxist Revolutionaries have demonstrated how to do it. Joseph Goebbels would be fascinated of how the US government propaganda machine works so smoothly. Love Mr. T or hate him, there is an awakening.

It's all just part of the plan even though the majority of individuals practicing and carrying out the plan have no idea what they are doing. Left to their current direction, they will destroy our country and our way of life. There will be no hiding from it anywhere in the United States (or anywhere else they follow our current practices). I actually believe that Obama has no real idea where he is taking this country by his decisions and mandates. Even his comments influence those that can't think for themselves.

Basically there are two solutions to put a stop to this and turn this country back around. One is civil war, a real civil war. This is due to the intensity of the division of the people. The other is to elect someone like Donald Trump, someone that will fight the establishment from the top and attempt to do the right thing no matter what.

What I don't get is what these rioters expect to get out of it. Beating on people while waving a Mexican flag is not something that will cause people to sympathize with your cause. These actions can be used to boost Trump's campaign. The only reason I can see is to foster insurrection and violence with whatever excuse available. They don't care about Trump as much as they care about creating havoc in America. After WW2 this sort of tactic wouldn't work in the slightest. But now, in the new millennia, we have a different kind of citizen rising. One that has no respect for the culture, the history, and the exceptionalism of the USA. Trump is just an excuse.

The more I hear about Donald Trump and his campaign, the more it reminds me of Greg Stillson from Stephen King's The Dead Zone.

I recently saw somebody I know on social media reference a video showing protesters punching and attacking Trump supporters as they leave/attend different rallies and say, "Look what Trump is inciting." These people actually do blame Trump for people who don't like Trump punching his supporters in the head.

Anymore I'm just here for the money. This country, this society is in very dire straits. We're in a lot of trouble. Idiocracy really is a true story...

I have a very simple solution.

Those that go to the Trump rallies should practice SELF-DEFENSE! Let a few Trump supporters carry and kill the trash and things will change immediately.

In the 60s and 70s, instigators and thugs were imported to stir the pots. In a campus club, the elected officers were defeated by a majority vote of "students" who literally crashed the meeting. There were no student ID checks...and no support from the college. Thus, the demise of a student organization that had been supporting Objectivism by a group led by a dissenting Republican. Most of the former club students continued to travel several hours to New York each week to attend NBI lectures. Now, we hear of activists literally paid and transported in order to violate the rights of individuals and groups. But it's not a new paradigm. History is full of such examples, from Brown Shirts to Black Shirts to tie-dye shirts and Martial Law, and Coup D'etat. Look to the politicians.

I think the riots are a prelude to the crisis necessary for the imposition of martial law so that 0bama and his handlers (Valjar?) can remain in power. Oh, and in the "she told you so" department, watch the lights in NYC. If the power goes out, there will be riots. Look what happened in 1977.
