News of the partnership between Atlas Distribution and Al Ruddy and the forthcoming Atlas Shrugged miniseries is showing up all over the place. Check out these recent articles:

Producer of 'The Godfather' Lands Rights to 'Atlas Shrugged' Novel

Note: There are a few mistakes in this New York Times article, primarily that Al Ruddy has the rights to Atlas Shrugged (those still belong to John Aglialoro), but we’re glad to see them talking about the miniseries.

This will be interesting to see how it all works out, I think an update would enhance the understanding for many. We have such a perfect cast right now to use....as said before: Now Non Fiction..

Thank you for bringing these all together. This post brought me back to the Gulch. I am excited about the next incarnation of Atlas Shrugged - the mini series. Each sub plot/section of the book could get its due, and the character arcs could be beautifully played out. We can introduce it to our friends easily and they can look forward to getting sucked into the drama of it - just like telling them to watch a season of an amazing HBO series.

I hope that they make more episodes - like the season of a show - 13 episodes would allow 4 episodes for each of the 3 parts = 12 episodes + 1 for introduction to introduce the characters and set the context.

Now - in another 10 years 2025, photo-realistic animated films will be a new medium in which to make movies - including 3-d immersive participation in the film like it is a video game. THAT is the version of Atlas Shrugged I want to experience (and make available for all Thriving- oriented people to experience).

Then, the version in virtual reality, where you can actually play the part of one of the characters (Dagny, Hank, Francisco,) and go through the book/movie/game from multiple perspectives and really get into the experience of each character...
