Agenda 21- Glenn Beck, Harriet Parke
Fiction 277pgs. ISBN 978-1-4767-1669-5

Agenda 21 is an enjoyable read. It is a story about a dystopian future world where big brother is all controlling, much along the lines of “Anthem” Rand, “1984” Orwell, and “Fahrenheit 451” Bradbury. There are common themes and clear parallels among the stories. It is a clarion call to avoid such a future by pointing out the endgame of the collectivist, tree hugging, statist’s. It is a bleak world, but ultimately incapable of sustaining itself indefinitely or crushing completely the individual human spirit! Thus like all socialist utopian schemes it resorts to tyranny and equal suffering in order to exist and forestall the inevitable failure. For the story’s protagonist there is a chance of escape. But you will have to read the book to find out how it ends. :)

I ripped through the pages in a few evenings. The time was well spent.
Respectfully,
O.A.

I read this and all of Glenns books except Overton Window. Must get. All my books are signed by him at books signings. He is a wonderful person. I have read your posts here and this group is fun! Keep it up! I'll be back!

Yes. It's an interesting follow through of where Agenda 21 will lead. The yank to get kids in the school system earlier is sounding like a stepping stone as well.....

It is a fun read and the word count is not that great, so the time investment is minimal next to the usual material I read. I cannot set the value of your time. I only hope I am not wasting it. :)

I didn't care for the reviews-the qualified ones. you both stand behind my taking precious time out to read it?

Yes, I see that. He supposedly "grew up." I notice that about a lot of adults who make too many compromises. They get too far away from Objectivisim, then seek altruism to earn a way into Heaven.

You expect right. However, it might take me a bit to go through these Ayn Rand books. I had the chance to buy those two books together so I grabbed it!

Sadly, he is no longer. publicly broke from her. He is an environmentalist. but his prose is quite good.

Sure thing. They are about giant Chinese Junks about 500 ft long that discovered America in 1421. And in 1432 they interacted with Italy igniting the Renaissance. They are controversial to say the least.
