Agenda 21- Glenn Beck, Harriet Parke
Fiction 277pgs. ISBN 978-1-4767-1669-5

Agenda 21 is an enjoyable read. It is a story about a dystopian future world where big brother is all controlling, much along the lines of “Anthem” Rand, “1984” Orwell, and “Fahrenheit 451” Bradbury. There are common themes and clear parallels among the stories. It is a clarion call to avoid such a future by pointing out the endgame of the collectivist, tree hugging, statist’s. It is a bleak world, but ultimately incapable of sustaining itself indefinitely or crushing completely the individual human spirit! Thus like all socialist utopian schemes it resorts to tyranny and equal suffering in order to exist and forestall the inevitable failure. For the story’s protagonist there is a chance of escape. But you will have to read the book to find out how it ends. :)

I ripped through the pages in a few evenings. The time was well spent.
Respectfully,
O.A.

Oh, that is a can of worms that could go on for hours. But the kick response is four Ayn Rand non fiction books, two books that have been on my radar for a long time titled 1421 and 1432, and another book by Judge Napolitano. And then a book by the Rush drummer called Far and Away. I didn't know he was an Ayn Rand fan.

I almost bought this book the other day, but decided to wait a bit. His Overton Window was excellent, so its on my list.

I picked up a bunch of other books instead.

I want to comment on this book read, but I don't want to give too much away (since you said "read the book to find out how it ends")... But I will say this... my favorite part was the hidden treasures left by her Mom in the you know what. Now ....get back to walking your board. (What do you think the nourishment squares were made of?)
