There is something hilarious about a ship out to prove global warming stuck in the ice in the middle of summer.

Lame and lamerer. I wonder what powers their smart phones? Mini turbines? How are all of these items they use manufactured? Oh. Right.

Why doesn't their ship have wind turbines and solar panels.

Man-caused Global warming is junk science. The historical temperature data is not there to substantiate their claims. These so-called scientists have taken a very meager historical data set and after manipulation, extrapolation, interpolation, and removal of anomalies, present their findings with no margin for error. Most of the historical temperature data is from the developed regions of the world. Almost no data is available for the southern hemisphere.
The purpose of man-caused global warming and Cap and Trade is governmental take-over of the Grid and the energy sector of our economy. Woe be to us if we allow them to do it.

Just for laughs, I've been following this situation closely. The irony is painfully obvious. Someone suggested that the group on board might qualify for
a collective Darwin award.

Definitely ironic. Maybe I they wait long enough the ice will thaw and they can row out.

Now, why on earth would a gardening website (American Meadows) post the following, which I just read:

"... we continued to focus on offering the hardiest gardening products...."

unless there is a suspicion that climate is cooling!

These are the same people who say save Eagles, then oh, never mind, we need wind turbines to save the planet more. No, not global warming, that one is too disproved, it is now climate change. I grew up near Lincoln County, New Mexico, where they kept the forest cleaned of combustible dead wood in the 60s. Now, they say leave it all natural, and let thousands of acres burn, along with the animals who live there! Well, the production of the batteries for the green cars leaves a bigger carbon footprint than my Camaro. Total lack of reason.

I hope they have enough fossil fuel on board to keep them warm. They could end up like Shackleton's Expedition.

Something that is "disappearing" but, at the same time, is also "building up". Oh dear!
