Obama's prayer breakfast with a side of Christian guilt.

Unless we get on our high horse and think that this is unique to some other place, remember that during the Crusades and Inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ," Obama said. "In our home country, slavery and Jim Crow all too often was justified in the name of Christ."

So that justifies the muslims for their jihad. After all, everyone else does it.....
Obama IS a muslim I think. He seems to defend them a lot.
I wonder if lying is ok in whatever religion he subscribes to, or he is just conveniently forgetting to be truthful

"Obama said that even though religion is a source for good around the world, there will always be people willing to “hijack religion for their own murderous ends.” Yes, which is like saying the sky is blue. This is not some great revelation. As president, he should at least try to say something of consequence.

Is it likely that the Thug-Replacement Program (aka, voting out the bad guys & replacing them with the good guys) will work if the goal is lasting peace, prosperity and freedoim? I don’t think so. ‘twould seem more likely that the problem is the myth that we need the State at all. It took me 40 years of study, research & observation to graduate from Rand’s utopian minarchist myth to the voluntaryism of the Win-Win Free-Market Stateless Society idea.

Anyone else in the Gulch seriously considering that concept?

" Throughout history, people calling themselves Christians had done terrible things too. The difference, David concluded, was that the Muslims waging violent jihad were actually OBEYING the Qur'an's commands to kill the infidels, while people who said they were Christians but killed or mistreated Jews, Muslims or others were explicitly DISOBEYING the teachings of Jesus.
It was Mohammed, after all, who told his followers things like “Jews and Christians are the ones whom God has cursed, and he whom God excluded from His mercy, you shall never vine one to help and save him: and “Kill them wherever you may come upon them, and seize them, and confine the, and lie in wait for them at every conceivable place.”
Yet is was Jesus who told his disciples, “You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.; But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” "

I agree. I am not usually considered a subtle person (perhaps you have noticed that) but I am starting to get a feeling for underlying agendas (not plural) in many things this administration does.

Then we are all slaves. You cannot legally end your life on your own terms/time, you cannot have medical procedures done on your body except by a gov't approved entity, if you use your body to create value and receive remuneration for same the gov't claims a portion of that remuneration, the gov't tells you what you can use your body for/or what you are prohibited from using your body for, etc., etc., etc., ad nauseum.

Go ahead, throw something. The perfect solution is a bag of Nerf balls from the toy store. Feels terrific to bean him between the eyes and nothing breaks.

I utterly repudiate Barack Hussein Obama II, alias Barry Soetoro, now and forever, as a spokeman for me or for Christianity. I don't even think he is a Christian as he has sometimes claimed.

I suppose this claim might strike some as original. The usual model of "Christian guilt" is guilt over having means while others don't have means. He has pronounced all Christians guilty of murder. And he defends a society that does all four of the "invasion-worthy things" Rand condemned: execution without trial, detention without charge, a "lobster-trap border," and censorship.

The United States can and should declare war against this so-called Islamic State, which is not merely a slave pen but also a den of murderers, of men who kill other men for sport.

If one is not owned by the government, then please explain this charge under the Uniform Code of Military justice: destruction of government property for a service member who is unable to perform his duties due to a severe case of sunburn. The degraded property in question is a human body.

I digress to repeat myself...a difference without distinction. The foundation of natural rights is self-ownership; the loss of which, by any means, equates to a condition best described with the word slavery.

A just government is one that governs by consent of the people. Only an unjust government usurps powers not granted by consent. Hello, welcome to Obama's world!

Isn't that the WHOLE problem with government? The laws of economics are immutable; consequences can be postponed but never eliminated.

In the U.S. military, one is not "owned".......one serves, having voluntarily agreed (redundant) to complete a term of enlistment or a minimum number of years, after which, one can resign one's warrant or commission. Since one has the right to one's own life, choosing (not conscripted) to serve in the military can be rational and moral...........not "slavery".

The riots in Ferguson aren't that big of a deal, Los Angeles had a better riot in Watts.

Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer, also known as the Milwaukee Cannibal, was an American serial killer and sex offender, who committed the rape, murder and dismemberment of 17 men and boys between 1978 and 1991. No big deal, they should have let him go free. After all, Hamilton Howard "Albert" Fish, a.k.a. "The Gray Man", was an American cannibalistic serial killer, rapist, and pedophile who targeted children in the 1920s.

So there, doesn't that justify what ISIS is doing today? Should we not just ignore them and let them just do their thing?
