You repeat propaganda like a good little comrade. The Strait is gushing oil at the same rate as pre war. I am glad to know you have better intelligence than The US President. Trump never had congress on his side and nothing has changed. The next 2 years will destroy the demon party and your credibility.

Trump did not end the Iran war to win elections he stayed to ensure the US’s sovereignty. We are at war with the deep state with Iran as utheir proxy and you can’t see it , to bad. You would rather a politician act in his own reelection interests than the country’s’.

But you can not deny that Trump lacked the backing of Congress and the people to finish what he started in Iran, or that our invasion thereof was/is required to remove the regime.

    He should have known both.

"I am arguing that we can no longer do anything of the sort…" good possibility to be true now as the Dems will now work overtime to thwart any action Trump can muster and the Iranian regime knows it and will wait it out rather than deal.

Hmmmm, let's see what a Dem president in '29 can do to end this... 1) Letter of apology publicly read at the UN, 2) rebuild the Iranian military at taxpayer expense, 3) more plane loads of cash to Tehran, 4) look the other way as Iran reignites its nuke program, and 5) the cherry on top is convert the new White House ballroom into a mosque and invite the Ayatollah to be guest of honor at the opening ceremony. I figure 1, 3, and 4 are in the top running.

Anyway, I still believe the lefts successful propaganda and indoctrination machines and cheating had more to do with the election results than any screw up on Trumps part.

Buddy. You are describing what we should do. Not what Trump can do. He could have done this, if he waited until Nov 15 to start … maybe.

By started when he did, with no
Congressional support, he doomed this mission to failure, and the midterms to failure. He dicked this up completely.

I am not arguing that we shouldn’t go in and finish now. I am arguing that we can no longer do anything of the sort… because the non-omniscient, non-infallible admin completely screwed up.

"Trump is not omniscient or infallible." Agreed and I would add nor invincible.

"You suggest it would take longer to take over Iran..." I'm not suggesting we take over Iran at all. IMO, Trump missed an Iranian regime change moment before the regime murdered 30 to 40 thousand of its citizens protesting the regime. Now, post nuke removal and the fact they seem to be recovering from decapitation, regime change is tougher since a good number of Iranians with enough moxie to pull it off are likely dead or in prison. We're dealing with a death cult here running on its own rules and beliefs that are not the same as ours. Therefore, since such an Islamic regime only responds to power, maintaining a posture of strength and containment is the way to go, for now. The MOU ploy of J. D. Vance's was a show of weakness and a waste of time - months of it. I heard on a radio broadcast that even Mohammad, when up against strength, advised cutting a 10 year deal with a foe, suggesting if the Ayatollahs have to choose between being slowly crushed (or, by some miracle, regime change) and a deal they will deal. The only question with respect to a deal is what is on our side of it? Trump is running out of time to end this in our favor. He needs to turn up the heat on the regime.

You suggest it would take longer to take over Iran than Iraq? Not reasonable. Iran is fully asymmetric at this point. The US can almost walk in, except for drones and booby traps.

Can NOT displace this regime without occupying it.

I’ll take the bet. Let’s wait 2 years. Congress will write terms into funding bills limiting unilateral executive powers in Iran. Trump may veto, and Congress will eventually over ride the veto with hungry RINO and libertarian support.
Iran wins the strait, backs off, lets oil flow, and increases its power in the region. We can stop arguing now and wait.

I am completely sick of this Q, zealot nonsense. Trump is not omniscient or infallible. Trump could have united us around the obvious value of responsibility and fiscal restraint, but he continues narcissistic silliness along with generally good policy.

Thanks, Dobrien, the recap of the stats was nicely done! Adding one more item I noticed HUGE attendance at the Trump campaign rallies, which were ignored by the MSMM as much as it could.

"...he could have eliminated Iran’s government in 2 weeks..." Proof? I don't buy this after the regime survived being decapitated initially. He's pursuing a logical boots-NOT-on-the-ground scenario. It will take time.

Your hollow barking needs an adult’s hand.

If you can’t admit problems, you are a zealot not an objectivist, and your support is of questionable value. One of Trump’s problems is listening only to zealots, and not people who can help him.

Childish wishes and unsupported ad hominem.

I will say it for the 99th time, Trump did not have to take on Iran just now. Waiting 6 months would achieve the same and he might still have the Senate. He screwed up, period.

Iran is not neutered. They never had anything significant, which was shown clearly in the 10 minutes it took us to remove their main large weapons. Now they are well disrupting the straight with mines and drones, doing to us what Ukraine is doing to Russia. The only way to end the regime is to go in there, and Trump never bothered to try to get the support to do so. Now he never will, and the regime will retrench and rebuild, perhaps with new, capable Chinese weapons and a Chinese base, and we’ll have to start all over again against a real problem. Trump completely dicked this up.

His admin did many great things, but he has failed, and now he is neutered.

Just an example that the length these traitors will go to. Marc Elias has reportedly received a DOJ target letter in the criminal probe of the decoy “Dan Sullivan” on Alaska’s Senate ballot. So has the DSCC.

Arguing in court that an election was flawed is advocacy. The First Amendment protects it.

What’s alleged here is something else: recruiting a retired teacher named Daniel J. Sullivan to sit on the ballot next to Sen. Dan S. Sullivan, so voters pick the wrong one.

That’s not advocacy. It’s deception aimed at the voters themselves.

And it isn’t just Republicans saying so. The New York Times reported that texts and documents tie the effort to the DSCC and its top law firm.

Alaskans are voting today with both names on the ballot.

a fairly picked grand jury should hear this. We’re one step closer.

Advocacy is protected. Fraud on voters is not.

And here's the apex point -- Elias didn't just, it seems, participate in picking the fake Dan Sullivan, he then entered as if he was an uninvolved legal advocate, riding both sides of the sapling.

    Hypocrisy and deception

We are at war as I have said for a decade. I don’t see cheating to flip results as losing. What if the system allowed for votes to be changed by infiltrators of our country and they changed the real votes .
    I’m a math person.

And I’m going on the record:

Ain’t no way $3.99 gas caused this 👇🏻

Thirty-seven seats changed hands last night:

    🏛️ 25 House
    🏛️ 7 Senate
    🗳️ 5 governorships

    Every single one went R ➡️ D.

Not one went the other way.

    2006 election was that clean.
    1974 election reached that deep.
    NONE has ever been both.

In 1974, two years after Nixon won 49 states, Republicans still won seats from Democrats.
    Last night they won none.

Kansas hadn't sent a Democrat to the Senate since 1932.
    South Carolina, since 1998.
Texas since 1988 & Texas moved 26 points off its 2024 presidential result.

Twenty-one of the 25 House flips came in states Trump carried.

Twelve came in states he carried by ten points or more.

I can’t tell anyone what to believe.

    But statistically, me, personally?

    I ain’t buying it.

And despite that, for the record, I’ll continue to work and vote.

    Harder than ever.

I stand w President Trump against the blatant fu^ckey afoot.

    MAGA

Trump knows there is no MAGA without free and fair elections . This election with massive fraud will be exposed and not by Trump but by the Red States first and then all states with a hand count to prove the machines were used to flip votes. Optics are important and Trump will stay out of it except Alaska’s two DanSullivans. We are at war and some would like to quit and they will lose for sure , Trump will never quit like Washington he may lose some battles but Patriots will prevail.

Iran is a neutered deep state shell, they control nothing but propaganda that you swallow up gladly
Your understanding of the 50 year fear trade in oil is amateurish. Central control of oil by OPEC a proxy of the city of London banister pigs set the price. Trump is shattering the cartel with Venezuela and now Iran oil. No boots on the ground and they the IRGC are basically obliterated .The left will do nothing to improve affordability or lower oil prices just like they can’t understand reason and logic. The left will now attack with lawfare and getting rid of ICE and impeach but Trump will VETO VETO VETO. The States willl prove election fraud one by one with audits and the election will be tossed.

The election was corrupt period. Anyone who thinQs votes were not flipped , believes Biden got 80,000,000 votes.

I agree wholeheartedly. If this was an immediate need, bring Congress and the people (later) along. Easy, or it is bullshit, show the data and move.

The problem is the perception (right or wrong) of unilateral uncontrolled, action. With Congressional backing, he could have eliminated Iran’s government in 2 weeks and that would be the end of middle eastern troubles.

Like his first term, he could take credit for peace and Israeli normalization. Now he accomplished NOTHING.

These are not difficult moves and reactions to work out. Trivial. Children chess. The FACT that this wasn’t worked out, along with 1 minute of whose name is where, should bother anyone. Our boy has lost his way. There can be no other conclusion, and if he continues, he will set us back 50 years

"...but losing a massive battle is still losing a massive battle." Amen, Thor, Amen!

My only question is how long AFTER Iran got its nukes was any president supposed to wait to act? Trump went with what he was advised about Iran's nuclear program - unless it was all a smoke and mirrors operation like Saddam's WMDs.

These are all bad things, but losing a massive battle is still losing a massive battle. Trump did NOT need to attack Iran to achieve any objective he couldn’t have achieved later, and now we all suffer.

That is a failure and a loss.

The only true failure is what's left of Free America lost the information war. Lost in the grade schools, lost in academia, and lost in the press. Both from the indoctrination disseminated and from the needed information not given at all. Then add in a few servings of cheating, lying, and promising the obviously impossible and you end up with a Talarico (in Texas of all places!), Marxist Jihadis in NYC and Michigan and a complete dingbat as governor of NY. Trump didn't do this and it's been coming a long time no matter who is president, but it appears he is a very well placed scapegoat according to some. Add to that, too many idiots treat political parties like sports teams and they will root for their team no matter how bad the players are or how much the fools lose betting on them.

I agree the cost of Iran was relatively low compared to Ukraine, Iraq and Afghanistan. However, doing Iran in December would have been 1) fine, 2) not cost both houses, and 3) still should have been done with the backing to finish. All might have succeeded. Now we have failed.

"He is busy worrying about his name on buildings, and no[t] the long term needs of the country." The MSMM branch of the D party worked hard to get Americans to believe that BS and too many are buying it.

The Iran conflict has cost about 1/10 of what was sent to Ukraine and succeeded in taking down the Iranian nuke program. The Straits Of Hormuz are now open in spite of that being the only card in Iran's hand. Patience will win that, too, IMHO, but you'd never know it from the MSMM.

Yup, blame Trump. It's the easy way out.
