Do you actually have a sticker on your vehicle...

...about Objectivism, etc.? I actually have a the words, "Who is John Galt?" in the top of the rear window of my pickup. A few times, I've had conversations with knowing strangers about it. I was standing in Santa Barbara Airport the other day wearing my tee shirt with the cover art from Atlas Shrugged, anxious to get back to my Gulch, when a well-dressed young man getting off a flight walked up and said, "Awesome book."

It was through such a bumper sticker I found Atlas Shrugged. The system works overtime, it seems, to not have it mentioned. I thought, "Yeah...who is this John Galt?", and googled it. I hope the little while letters on my truck help somebody in the same way...

Likewise, I have a “Who is John Galt” frame for my license plate and get the occasional beep, thumbs-up, or shout. But more importantly, when I owned an upscale restaurant with several thousand weekly passing through, I had a wood worker jigsaw two sayings that I hung, “Who is John Galt?” and “It is what it is.” Those who know “got it” and those who didn’t would often inquire. It often spurred on additional conversations with me handing out different essays that were apropos. Many were put off by the “philosophical nature,” fearing it was beyond their comprehension. And then I discovered “Loving Life” by Craig Biddle. I gifted several hundred copies of his plainly written book with this positive, unassuming title. Throughout the years, many have researched more about Rand, and I personally know and continue to be in touch with several who have become “students of Objectivism” from their simple initial inquiry. We never know who and why one may become impacted, and as Rand said, “You can only change one mind at a time.”

Doc Huyler put me onto a Peikoff lecture from 88. "Why man should act on principle" Brilliant delivery.
I need to get hold of ARI and see if they can convey two questions to Leonard. He may be the only one to have first hand knowledge to answer, yet, he turned 90 this year. Or, perhaps you know of any within an "inner" circle.
Did Gene Roddenberry intend to illustrate The Objectivist's Ethics within Star Trek?
Did Rand, by oversight or ignorance, or .....???, not place the concept of "I Care" within The Objectivist's Ethics?

After reading AS my second time, I put one of the, "Atlas Shrugged - no longer fiction" bumper stickers on my Corvette. The dealer had to remove it when I sold it. Wow, that was along time ago. Thanks for the reminder, I've still got a couple, need to put one on my RAM.

    Thanks for the push Abaco.
I actually have some bumper stickers ...
I have typically run as "The Grey Man" -- no logos, etc... However, a simple "Who is John Galt?" ... now is the time
From Commander "If you've ever wondered whether you would have complied in 1930s Germany, now you know."
Good lord, that is so spot on.

Me dino has a sticker that says USMC on the left side and an Alabama football sticker on the right.
Tomorrow Bama plays arch rival Auburn at 2:30 CT on CBS (even though it's the Communist Broadcasting Station) . Roll Tide!
I only use magnetic stickers to add to trade-in value.

I have “who is John Galt?” In the rear window of my truck along with a “If you ever wondered what you would have done in Germany in 1938 … now you know” with an eagle with a mask on.

On both my regular drivers I have a magnetic sticker I had printed with:
“Welfare of the people has always been the alibi of tyrants. - Albert Camus”. With a list:
“Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Biden”

I have all kinds of tShirts with sayings like “Don’t worry, we’ll print more” and a rainbow tied-dye with an embroidered AR-15 that says “I identify as a bolt action rifle.” My favorite is “My freedom does not end where your fear begins”

I have "Reagan" and "Nixon Now" bumper stickers on my old Pontiac.

If anybody needs a 1970's bumper sticker "Nixon, now more than ever", "Democrats for Nixon" "Reagan" or "Governor Reagan" (red and blue) I have a big box of them I got at an auction. I'm getting $10 for them on ebay (I am "weyland_pubs" there) you can see what they look like), but I can send for free, send your address info to fairbroATSIGNgmailDOTcom. I am selling 3-5 a month, they are more popular this year...

Be advised these stickers will fly off plastic bumpers, they were made for old metal bumpers, so you'd have to use clear tape.

Reactions I get are other vehicles are more curious around my car, maybe they think I am older so they use more caution. My neighbors think they're hilarious. I magic-markered out the T and the P on my "TRUMP" yard sign. I'm hoping Tom Cruise will run. Hey, it's that giddy time of year! Lol! Merry Christmas Y'all! Hang on, things will improve in 2024, especially after the eclipse...
