This is a really good explanation of what is happening with the magnetic fields, and the Magnetic Field event that has been in progress for the last 100 years or so, and is speeding up. The implications are far worse for the earth, than the Global Warming fantasy, since this is actually real. Why? When the fields collapse, the magnetosphere disappears and the Earth is then exposed to deadly and dangerous levels of cosmic rays that are usually deflected. The resulting damage to DNA causes global mass extinctions as animals are unable to reproduce. It effects everything from animals to plants. If you look at the current map, you will also note that the current magnetic lines strongly resemble the flow of the jet stream, that causes the "deadly weather caused by climate change" effect (huge temperature swings, changing rain/snow patterns). This is possibly what someone has been trying tomanipulate as "climate change: because no one wants to "panic the masses". It doesn't take a phd to figure this stuff out, folks.

    Absolutely. As an engineer I just don’t think the idea of man changing the earth makes a lot of sense. The size of the earth and the power of the sun are the big control elements

    Your last paragraph explains why we get to listen to the Algores and Gretas ad nauseum.
    No basis in actual science, just weather observations gone bad and hyped to the maximun for profit of the few.

    The "climate change" scientists would like us to believe that we can change the climate via more taxes to whoever the politicians are judged as worthy to take up the project. Most usually, themselves.
    Like you, I don't believe we can do much of anything to change how the earth works, and has since its inception, just go with the flow of it all.
    Also, I'm too old to get concerned with stuff I have no control over in the future.

    No, I would say they are just intelligent enough to be able to persuade the group that their statements are real. Oregon is proof of that and Kalifornia. In the face of overwhelming evidence they are failures, the people keep them in power (unless you are willing to believe in the conspiracy theory of a deep state, and they have corrupted the election system to where they can never be voted out, which is my HO)....

    They are not intelligent enough to be cognizant of that. It is a collective activity which requires one to be disconnected from objective reality and go along with whomever is the most threatening about the future of their jobs.

    Nope, this is an issue beteen the Galactic electromagnetic field and the Earths much smaller one, with one being impacted by the other. That is why it is a 12,500 year cycle as we cross the plane every 25,000 years or so in Precession. You just have to survive it. A pole flip is not happening every cycle, there is this magnetic field anomaly that occurs. The ppoint is, this is a much bigger, real threat that climate change, and it may actually be a direct contributor to it. Just don't let your state hit you with the looter theft program called "Cap and trade" using the flimsy excuse of man made climate change to justify theft of billions each year by each state for ....who know what.

    Well, then, I don't know. Maybe some highly power-
    ful magnets to be used to counteract this. Of course, where to get them would be a problem. I guess we have not yet progressed enough to dig any up from any other planets.

    Thank you, I was going to bring that to the table, especially for the less astute who like to call people out for what they look like, or sound like, vs what they say, and the quality of their logic. I wonder what labels will be laid on SO?
