Isn't that interesting? Perhaps it's been removed because of how the comments of people seeing it. Maybe they realize that it's the people they elect that create the conditions for that type of thing. Look at who runs the cities that are similar. Maybe Trumps should have started out as a Mayor, Governor, then President. Sort of like Reagan, a little politics to please the politicians.

I lived in the Seattle area, Green Lake, University District, Mercer Island, Bellevue for 12 years. It was a beautiful place to be back then.
This video tells me I will never visit there again. Seeing the conditions there now breaks my heart.
The pols should be tarred and feathered and run out of Seattle on a rail.

That's interesting. The video, of course, is done from the perspective of what the producers /directors agenda happens to be at the time. Seattle, itself is quite a liberal city, and so would be the media. This morning, in a small town 300 miles from Seattle, I had a conversation about this video with someone that just moved here. I've been here three years, he's been here a month. I said I was astounded how Seattle has deteriorated in the last three years, when I recently visited. He said it's been going on for 15 years. I didn't see it when I was there, at least not to the same extent I see it by being away three years. It kind of proves to me that we might not even be aware of just how our representatives are taking our country away, the country we knew not that long ago. I imagine it's similar to a message I learned in Vietnam, "Absence makes the heart grow fonder." Being an outsider now, I can see what is happening to Seattle is a lot worse than those that see it everyday think it is.

I was thinking send them to an island with some fundamental survival items, like seeds or what have you.

Well, yes. The East Side of the State is Spokane (and Richland (where I live), Kennewick, Pasco, Walla Walla, etc.). NealS was referring to the East Side of the Seattle area. Seattle is on the west bank of Lake Washington, while Bellevue and Redmond are on the east side of Lake Washington.

I noticed they all hid their faces! Didn't want mother and dad and neighbors seeing them.

This was pathetic. They should round them up and make them get off the streets. They enjoy all the attention they are getting. SF is giving each one $70 a month in cash. More money for drugs.

Makes me wonder sometimes why they (the left) don't want to kick that abortion thing up to, say, 18. Of course I'm being totally facetious.

Old Man...this is a thought I have too. As a father...I always see this in the light that, at one point, they enter the world as cute little babies - their parents with unbridled hope for their future. Then, this is how they end up. I value the sanctity of life so much as a father...

I have lived in Washington State for 27 years now -- on the "Other Side" -- the East side. A good number of my friends and acquaintances reside on the West side -- plus, I did contract work for Boeing and others back in the 1990's. As such, there have been trips to The West every year. In the early days, I found that The Emerald City was a well-fitting moniker for the place -- each visit felt like spring, with all of the green and color of plants and sparkling new skyscrapers, as compared to the dry brown of the East side.

Over the past several years, I began to notice blue-tarp tent encampments located beneath the overpasses and sometimes in vacant lots. The locals had little to say about the eye-sore -- it was just part of the environment, I suppose. More recently, the quantity and density of the pestholes has increased.

I heard Michael Medved's radio program a couple months ago. He lives and works in Seattle and shared his opinion on the homeless situation there. Essentially, the city officials could solve the problem in a number of ways ... but they choose not to. They prefer the increasing visible human blight. They want a showcase for the "wealth inequality gap" and visible presence of The Poor, as such, the need for Social Programs.

Some friends from a hiking group apparently bring food to the various established Urban Outdoorsmen encampments -- "Tiger Mountain Camp 4" -- yes, they now have names -- tent cities indeed. My friends like to Feel like they are doing something good. I like my hiking friends, and I do not comment, but their efforts are misguided. If you continue to offer incentive for something, you will get more of it. This is an essential law of human behavior. As an engineer, I predict that Tiger Mountain Camp 4 will continue to grow like an untreated cancer.

Under a pragmatic light -- I have been encouraging a few of my Seattle friends to sell their million-dollar homes and get out while they can. A million dollars goes a long way in cities here on the East side -- and even further if you check out amazing locations such as Sierra Vista in Southern Arizona.

WOW! Unbelievable! And so sad to see that beautiful city going to trash. And so sad to see all those people living on the streets.

The left likes this, I think. Can't wrap my head around it...

I have a real fondness for Seattle. Spent much of my life up there. Beautiful place. That's why it was targeted, I think...because it's so beautiful.

I breaks my heart to think that many of these individuals started out as loved, wanted, cuddled babies. Their mother and father did not imagine this future.

Washington state at least recognizes the value of business, even if it's as a host to a parasite. Oregonians despise business, large or small.

It Looks a like "San Francisco"

Maybe we can get some news coverage that shows. Bad (Socialistic) government all leads this way...

    Not even on Fox!

It is time for a change. The leftist collectivist have proven their ability to ruin nations, states and cities. All in their plan , divisive identity politics. Take no responsibility for your actions. Lie about your opponents or yourself. If caught blame some conspiracy.

    It's a shame.

I travelled frequently to Seattle on business but not any more so I was lucky to escape the view the video showed.

It was one of my favorite destinations. I guess it would not be any more.

Washington is competing with CA for the "most lefty State on the West". Oregon is not far behind.

Obviously.... Sure glad I got away three years ago. The Eastside (Bellevue, Redmond, etc.) can't be far behind, just give them another couple of terms. At least the governor will be running for President, that might give us some relief. Unfortunately I'm still in the state.
