    Collectivism kills!
"Millions of people not only being momentarily horrified, but agreeing with the murderer’s classification of him- or herself as a victim." This is a serious problem with society today. Too many buy into the victimization meme. Oh woe is me... Blech, barf, wretch... move on, pick yourself up and keep reaching for your goals and remember that we all have more power in shaping our own destiny than any other person or any collective.
    Good article khalling, Thank's.
    Regards,
    O.A.

PC did indeed kill him. He thought of himself as a victim brought on by the Liberals telling him that he was. He was so caught up in racism that he thought reporters going into the "field" was a jab against being black....as picking cotton. When all it meant was that they were going out to get a story. This was on Rush today. The PC crowd has a lot to answer for on this one.

    Disgusting, of course.
But since people want to blame all these things on
guns, why wouldn't it be retributive justice just to
arrest the gun, and take away its bullets, and lock up the gun in a prison cell? Or why not
just hang the gun on a gallows, or put it in an elec-
tric chair? (Of course, the gun's probably made
out of metal, so there might be electrocution
problems for executioner, or witnesses). Or
why not a lethal injection for the gun? Or how
about pouring some poison down its barrel?
From what I understand, this killer had never
been diagnosed as having a mental illness, and
he had bought the gun legally. Perhaps the
best solution is just to have more people armed,
so that someone like this can be stopped. Even
then, probably the first victim would have died,
but the second murder, and the wounding of the
third person, might have been prevented.

The problem isn't with the tool, but the wielder. It's pretty clear that this guy had his priorities and philosophy straight from an entitlement mindset. He believed that everyone else owed him his life - from fame and fortune to a job. It's too bad he couldn't be educated prior to becoming a suicidal nut case.

How come the headlines didn't say "3 unarmed white people shot by Black Man." We have seen similar headlines vomited out ad-nausium by the press when the police bust a cap on an African american male.

Although I agree that it is good riddance to see him gone, this incident is a good reminder of the chaos that we need to avoid as the world collapses around us. It reminds me of when Galt, Dagny, Akston, et al. were discussing how dangerous it would be for Galt would go back to his shrug job just before Dagny decided to go back to New York City from Atlantis.

This is why I carry a concealed pocket pistol I fortunately can also carry a permit for in Alabama.
I don't want to be an open carry primary target should some crazy It's All About Me jackass shoot up a public place.
Instead of being a helpless target, I'd rather go down to be remembered as at least a wannbe defender than as some selfish pig who wants innocent others to suffer for his oft delusionally gained pain.
On the other hand, I know my age and an oft noticeable limp makes me a mugger's target. So I can be selfish too. Surprise, Mr. Mugger!

    Very good article.

I have a question. We keep hearing that the guy was gay. Um, er, with who? With all the talk of him not being able to get along with anybody, uh, er, who would.....?

And wouldn't said person(s), noting this guy is off the rocker, have noticed some behavior of concern? Is the MSM trying to find a person or more to interview how, when, and why Williams went bad? Or does that raise issues they would rather not see raised?

This guy was a total coward, and a disgrace. I don't know anybody of color, nor any gay people who would say this guy represented them. This PC response to what he did seriously makes me fear for our society. He gunned down a little woman, shooting her in the back as she ran for her life. Then, shot the cameraman point blank. What a piece of work this guy was...

There are a lot of comments on this subject, but alas, it comes down to the basics, All the laws in the world are not for good if someone does not listen or use them. For example finding someone guilty beyond a reasonable doubt for killing people and gets hundreds of year in jail with 3 hots and a tot, all at the expense of the rest of society; ie: taxpayers normal everyday citizens........go figure!

As has been said, "Life's a bi++h, and then you die." No amount of preparation can entirely protect us from the unexpected. This was a case of anger that festered in private for two years before exploding into violence, and the victims were defenseless, having had no warning.

Because the deaths involved a gun, the MSM was all over it, but the death of a prominent member of the Oklahoma government went nearly unnoticed, because the killer, his mentally ill son, used a common steak knife. They can scream about the need for gun control, but they know the idea of banning steak knives would only be ridiculed. There would not be nearly the attention applied if the killer had splashed gasoline on the victims and burned them to death.

Rather than sympathy for the victims, most of the aftermath has been used to promote agendas: gun control, racism, oppression of gays. The fact is that the killer was responsible, and it's irrelevant why he did it. He saved the taxpayers by taking himself out, rather than having this tragedy dragged through an endless court battle.
