Finally some good news on the privacy front!

Given the conflicting rulings in other jurisdictions, this ruling pretty much guarantees a hearing before the Supreme Court. We can only hope they rule in favor of strict interpretation of the Fourth Amendment.

    I use a trac phone bought with cash and take the battery out when I'm not making a call or checking for calls. There is no reason to instant answer every call that's what recordings and text are for. Second when you do replace the battery check to see if you really need to view the message. Number one for delete is no identification. Of course when the new phones come with permanent batteries using solar chargers ....I'd guess buy a bunch of the old style batteries until someone posts an answer to the new technology
