Everything the Media Said About NYPD ‘Killing’ Garner is Destroyed with Fact that Changes Everything
Opinions: I had a protracted conversation about this today. While I looked at it from present to past the person discussing it with me looked at it from ideological past to today. By avoiding the reality of resisting arrest and bring on the circumstances of your own demise and championing why should he pay tax? Why does selling something that the government had no hand in helping you market or sell require a tax? And my personal favorite, this type of taxing is immoral and should people do not have to respond to commands from police given to support immoral laws you, yourself, do not acknowledge as moral.
I can see this persons point...but to me it lives in fantasy land. Opinions?

Chris Rock rubs me the wrong way sometimes, but he can be right too.
Good to hear from you.
Happy holidays,
O.A.
* is a tragedy,
* is typical of an overbearing government which feels that it must regulate everything,
* is an indicator of systemic oppression regardless of race,
* is an example adding credence to my concern that the government will make every misdemeanor a finable offense since it can no longer justify further taxation,
* is being manipulated by the Marxist faction of our Ruling Class to generate as much discontent as possible now that the Country Class is rejecting them electorally.
I'm not sure if I'm more on the side of you or your friend.
Should Garner have resisted arrest, probably not.
Should Garner have been arrested in the first place, probably not.
I agree, this is a senseless death caused by over-regulation. This man died, and was not killed or murdered, because of a 7-9% tax on a pack of cigarettes and the absence of a $25-$50 TPT licensee.
Its ridiculous. It not racially motivated. And no one is innocent in this. Yet, the race-baiter's and racially motivate hate mongers are already on the march.
I do think that NY Attorney General sought 1st degree murder because he knew it wouldn't stick. 2nd degree, involuntary manslaughter, may have brought this incident to a jury.
Murder 1 is ridiculous.
taxing is immoral in my opinion, because the gov't is in bed with the private banking cabal (fed reserve) and since the cabal provides all the monetary heroin the gov't wants; taxing the citizens is pointless, unless the goal of course, is to drag the citizens down (decrease competition ~ the Rockefeller goal) and make success & profit much harder.
Chokeholds are designed to not only restrict breathing, but more to restrict blood flow to the brain and cause unconsciousness and if held for just a few seconds too long, will result in death. If a person made unconscious from such a hold is not resuscitated immediately, it can often lead to permanent brain damage or death.
He should have simply complied with the cops (right or wrong), taken his ticket/ride to the precinct and paid bail, went home to his wife, and had his day in court.
This was a entirely unnecessary waste of human life.

I'm tired of watching these.
I think your quote takes it a bit far. I didn't watch the video's. I don't need to see people being shot.
The police need to be reigned in. But in this instance to chastise them for ensuring the law is kept seems ludicrous. As I said before, only Garner know his medical condition and only he could have prevented his death (but I'm sure he favored his victims outrage over his mortality).
