Detroit- The city that shrugged

The entire article is about a ludicrous councilwoman, but I thought this was pertinent to the Gulch: "At one time, it had 2.1 million, but people have been fleeing for the exits for two generations. Between the 2000 and 2010 censuses, a quarter of the city's population left for greener pastures"

Detroit hasn't shrugged...it's residents have shrugged Detroit. Detroit is exactly how it should be. It is completely logical that it has ended up how it has, at present, because of it's leadership, or lack there of, who were voted into office, by the remaining residents. It's been going on for decades and they can't figure out what THEY are doing wrong so it MUST be somebody else's fault. It's typical liberal thinking and this is where it leads, folks....just like Detroit.... aka Hell. (If you don't believe me...take a drive through it...if you survive the drive...you won't go back.)

Yes, the exodus was people going galt, but those who remain are going Starnesville, or Stupidville. The city hasn't been this scary since 1967. I remember.
