I know she has to move to the left to secure the nomination but this is offensive.

I see the little commie is still disparaging what came to be called "trickle down" economics. IMHO, it was the Reagan policies that eventually brought about the economic boom of the '90s, which the Clintons are quick to to take credit for and the Lame Stream Media is so quick to back them up. The deep hole the country was heading into by the time Carter got done wouldn't be fixed by some economic step function, but a lead-lag curve that took years to come to fruition. It seems nobody learned from that and "here we are again". I believe, much to our chagrin, that HC will be our next president. The "useful idiots" are way too numerous and the elections will be fixed for her to win. The economy will finally roll over dead and the blame will be placed on folks like us.

There is another civil war coming between the progressives and the libertarians. It cannot be stopped at this point. The only question is the timing and the spark that initiates it.

Worse is that there is such a large portion of the nation that doesn't know any better. They've been so indoctrinated that such ideas don't seem fundamentally wrong to them.

Well, many of them were "created" by gov't as a consequence of needing to demonstrate compliance to regulations.

Evidently as a roadmap of how to run a country, not as a warning about what happens when that vision comes about.

"How is it out of context? He believes that government helped every business that has succeeded. "
He was saying gov't provides the non-excludable goods and services that make business possible. I consider this a basic uncontroversial fact. His critics latched onto it because they don't have much to work with.

I don't think so. They've been showered with it, for sure, but I haven't seen that they have been money grubbers. That's a criticism that I don't think fits.

Which begs the question - why do some businesses fail? If gov't is all that is needed to succeed, don't all business have that "support?"

Whose TV mentality and attention span have been and continue to be carefully conditioned for emotional response to the shallowest narratives and automatically drive or are bused to default voting en masse.

Has anyone here read Michael Savage's book "Stop the coming Civil War'? I read the first four chapters the first night.

If Mrs. Clinton wins, I am leaving the country as there will be nothing left when she is through. I have seen enough pain and suffering due to the administrations policies and it is only going to get worse as she will finish destroying what Obama has started. The Progressive destruction of our society is getting to the tipping point of no return. We need another Reagan but I don't see that in any that are a possible candidates. I could be wrong but I see the Republican Establishment falling right in line with the Progressives. There will be a political elite and then the cows that are milked for everything they have to fund the Progressive monetary finality. If you cannot make everybody rich, then use the power of government to make everybody equally poor.

According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, there are about 156 million people working in the United States. From federal employees all the way down to local police and firefighters, I have seen estimates that as many as 40 million people work for the government.

Since she doesn’t think corporations and businesses create jobs, just who does Hillary think created the other 116 million jobs in this country?

What if the employers went on strike for a few days? Oh, there is probably a law against that.

"They believe in comments like "you didn't build that". "
Their going after President Obama's comments out of context just shows they have little legitimate to criticize about him.
Clinton's comment, OTOH, is opposite from the truth. Businesses and people eager to help them are the ONLY thing that creates jobs.
