I think this shows the mind set of Progressives. Obama automatically thinks someone should "control" world events. I think he may have his eyes set on a UN position if he leaves office.

  The US constitution missed the democracy part, too.
  Democracy does not protect any minority against unlimited tyranny by the majority. Self restraint by the majority is as rare as benevolent dictators.
