Me dino will never forget a then Vice-President Biden on TV sitting on a porch and telling someone unseen off to his left that the government can "spend our way out of debt."
Then he calmly added something like, "Uh, huh. That's right." Me dino was horrified back then.
Now I have a for being used to it "business as usual is still stupid is as stupid does" calmer attitude.
Nevertheless, so why am I now thinking of traitors who need to be lined up and shot?

It seems to me that a foundational question is: Why does the federal government even have the discretion to spend money on something like this that is outside of it's lane? On the other hand, it spends taxpayer money on other museums, so why not this one? Isn't it true that once a principle is broken anything goes. Don't principles have to be laid out with firm, unassailable boundaries? Beyond that point there's no room for pressure group tactics, bribery, payoffs and so on. Too "pie in the sky"? Without principles to adhere to aren't we all fried, broiled, baked, and done?

It doesn't have constitutional authority, but it has the force to crush objections.
      Yes, without principles anything goes.
The People must impose those principles upon government and corrupt business in order to restore liberty and rational financial justice.

debt clock is at 31 trillion
that does not include the 100 to 200 trillion in unfunded pensions

this cannot continue, the house of cards will fall, worldwide at some point soon

Get physical silver if you can find it, the supply is very constrained.

Think it's too late? I don't have much silver at present. I mean the metals I invested in so far are lead and brass...

That’s up to you sir! I think it has a long way to go, it has been the savior to Venezuelans who had some.the two highs were in 1978 and 2011 at around fifty. I think that is eiil be a triple top breakout. The holders aren’t going to sell as it climbs because everything else will be going to Schiff imo

            Agreed 1000%
To Quote Clif High... The problem with $600/oz silver... Is that most people won't want to live in that world! They don't have the skills for it.

I used to think: 10-20% of your assets in Gold/Silver as a hedge. Now I think.. 10% in cash/bank as a hedge. Everything else in assets.

I agree. $20,000 gold and $600 silver don't just happen. Those numbers would result from a financial collapse that would make trade very difficult and result in major bankruptcies and the unavailability of a lot of goods.

You are right about the skills. We are SO dependent on other people to live at the level we are at in this civilization. We have seen supply chain anomalies and what happens. What we haven't seen so far is the severe breakdown in trade between people when the medium of exchange is unpredictable. Most of the skills that people have today are based on technology that will quickly disappear when SHTF. The skills that will be needed in the future will be plumbing, electrical, mechanical, farming, and such. What happens as the populace ages and cant physically accomplish these things?

A lot of people are going to find the skills that got them through life so far arent very useful in the SHTF world. I am an electrical/mechanical engineer all these years, but who is going to want those skills when they cant feed their families or get health care they can pay for.

Exactly, term... This is the point of using your skills to save KNOWLEDGE. A handful of android tablets with a few copies of knowledge containing books.

Keep in mind that the Primary Skill... Is acquiring skills! I think in those terms.

Tools, can be made. Raw materials are hard to convert to useful things. But knowing how to do some piping, strip a tree to make wood. Make a kiln, to fire bricks.

If you get a big enough community, you could get some specialization. But food is the difficult part. We are so far removed from feeding ourselves.

                  The carnage will be high.
I suggest checking out the local Amish and other such groups!

I agree that world would be very "inconvenient."
              What assets
              1) don't have ridiculous carrying and maintenance costs and
              2) don't support our enemies and
              3) don't have high probability of being destroyed by corrupt bankster/government power and
              4) are concealable and portable (for reasons that should be obvious)?

Cash/bank deposit has the considerable disadvantage of being reduced by severe inflation
that is likely to result from the impending end of the petro-dollar, imo.

FFA, your intelligence is very telling with those questions.

                Our enemies have corrupted everything.
Lets start by saying I don't trust Stocks, Bonds, or Wallstreet any more than I trust the Banksters.

                So, you are stuck with
                1) Property (real estate). But even having a clear title can't stop these criminals.
[And property taxes will sky-rocket]. So I prefer more Rural Land.
But that is a "hedge" unless it brings in income, or can in the future (harvesting trees, refuge)
                2) Guns, Ammo (The 2nd Amendment Precious Metals)
                3) Gold and Silver (Physical)
                4) Crypto (again, as a hedge). Stick with BTC and ETH for me. In your own wallets.
                5) Knowledge in the form of PDF, Books, etc. (Can you MAKE paint/glue? Carbon? Bleach?)
                6) Tools, Machines. (Something as simple as a hole punch for leather goods)
                7) Some level of Solar to power at least the machines and recharge batteries
                8) Friends, Community
                9) A Healthy Mind and Clean/Healthy Body!

                Those are the Assets.
Anything that would have supported a distant relative in the 1840s, IMHO.

I recommend projecting yourself into various possible futures.
                And planning accordingly.
At this point. RETURN OF Capital supersedes return ON CAPITAL.

Good list. There are more, especially for those living in/near populated areas. Imagine a complete power failure. Cell towers stop working as well as water and sewage pumps. So add:

                  10) Alternate communication method with family and friends
                  11) Potable water source
                  12) Do you know how to cap off the main drain before the toilet backs up when the town pumps fail? Especially basement?
                  13) How to address sanitary needs with no indoor toilet?

                  Etc.

                    Those are also all good.
I just got my Ham radio license, and a couple of handhelds that give us miles of communication.

Water. OMG, 3+ Years of Berkey Filters, a full setup, and 3 sets of ceramic only filters, and the buckets to make it work.

One thing I am lacking... the DOLLY/Wagon to go to the nearby water sources. I keep forgetting. But you don't want to be carrying near 40lbs in each arm. (5 gallons).

                    Extra buckets, and garbage bags.
                    A Shovel.

The upside is that once you start fasting. Your #2 volume drops significantly... LOL

                    Thanks for the adds!
FWIW, I don't think you can have too many Garbage bags.

And I have a full Face Mask/Gas Mask with various carbon filters.

very scary scenarios are on the horizon. The left is going to get its great reset in the not too distant future. I wonder how far back civilization will go. Back to life like in the 1883 paramount series?

We have two places to run to outside of the cities, both rural, both owned by trusted patriots, and one just around the block in the city if time runs out. Possible additional place in a small town not far away. If the feds want to throw money away on museums, how about they throw some my way. I can identify as a museum. ( Edited for spelling)

Maybe he should spend it in the US to teach kid graduating more than kindergarten level reading skills. Or perhaps teach a second language to US kids. Iwas in a college class with all Saudi males, they spoke very good English, just weirded out over a girl in class, which amused the prof. I know two Pakistani peiple in our town with whom I can converse. Maybe Biden needs to get out more, he seems clueless. Has he actually met Pakiistani trns youth even? what is his obsession with kinky, is it becasue Hunter is kinky?

might as well let the feds bankrupt themselves and therefore be less powerful. Its hard to be positive about fixing this when half the people vote for a decrepit biden
