I stumbled with Ayn Rand through several quotes on Goodreads and fell in love withy her mind. I am currently devouring her book and know there is much more to learn.

Welcome to the Gulch, Laura! When you say "her book," I assume you mean Atlas Shrugged? Have you read any of the others?

My first read of AS was so long ago I hardly remember (actually I remember quite well, but it WAS more than 50 years), but the great thing is: even when you've already read it (several times), there are new insights to extract. I have never gotten bored, even after several trips through. It will be nice "seeing" it through "newbie" eyes once again.

Hi! One of the first ones I found on goodreads and made me want to know more about the author was this one.
“Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark in the hopeless swamps of the not-quite, the not-yet, and the not-at-all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish in lonely frustration for the life you deserved and have never been able to reach. The world you desire can be won. It exists.. it is real.. it is possible.. it's yours.”
      ― Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged

Excellent, I've been doing research for an article I'm writing about an Objectivist teacher, and I've learned even more vividly how progressive public schools are designed to put out that spark by separating the mind from reality.
