Yep, as citizens we are subject to ALL the laws and regulations. We are monitored to be sure we comply. The illegals are just given everything with no responsibility. No wonder they don't want to be labeled "citizen". Then they have to qualify for the free stuff.
I know this is not completely the way it works but.....close enough.

in a democracy it is never "your" tax money...welcome to the tyranny of the majority...

the only consolation is the coming financial collapse...those who prepare will survive to write the rules for the next go around...

I would put the misinterpretation of the Commerce Clause in my top five. I think that the misapplication of the 14th Amendment in granting citizenship/rights to non-citizens is probably up there as well.

The Supremacy Clause is actually set out in the Constitution itself and I think that it only becomes a threat when the Ninth and Tenth Amendments (which specifically leave everything not specifically delegated to the Federal government to the States) get ignored. If the Ninth and Tenth Amendments were more stringently enforced, I think most of the use of the Supremacy Clause would resolve itself.

Correct, and I think this was probably the biggest mistake this nation has ever made. Second would be the popular election of Senators...

It is a fact, If health care is free, people think it isn't worth something. They take Medicaid and wear $100 false nails, wear gold jewelry, drive very nice cars, and think they are 'entitled'. People who work and make $2 too much to qualify for a government program suffer from ill health! Been there, seen it! This statement is true!
