Giuliani slams 'conflicts of interest' in special counsel's office: 'When did Mueller become God?'

President Trump's personal attorney Rudy Giuliani asserted in a fiery interview with "Fox News Sunday" that Trump had "very good reasons to fire" Special Counsel Robert Mueller just one week into his recently-completed probe into Russian election interference, and openly wondered to an Easter morning audience, "When did Mueller become God?"

Giuliani noted, however, that "so far we don’t think we need to" release a planned counter-report to Mueller's findings because "we think the public debate is playing out about as well as it can -- why confuse it?"

Speaking minutes later on "Fox News Sunday," House Intelligence Committee chair Adam Schiff, D-Calif., gave another reason for the White House to celebrate by cautioning that whether to begin impeachment proceedings would be a "very difficult decision" that would take "the next couple of weeks" to determine. Ohio Democrat Rep. Tim Ryan also pumped the brakes on impeachment, telling CNN, "the process needs to play itself out."

Different Democrats giving different messages. No wonder they need a call on Monday moning .

I cannot comprehend the attitude the loonies have that Trump 'almost' committed obstruction. If you 'almost' rob a bank, is it a crime? If you 'almost' commit adultery are you an adulterer? Oh yeah, I guess so if you do it in your head!

That interview became irritating to this newspaper reporter of 7 years during the Seventies..
Damn, just let Rudy talk! His version is what he's being interviewed for! And Rudy is more than happy to give it.
But no, Wallace wants to grandstand for the camera.

Confusion to our enemies! We all know now that Mueller was working from an agenda of his own. Poor man. History isn't going to be kind to him. This is going to look very bad for a lot of people. Trying to unseat an elected president is treason.

From a historical perspective Mueller would look better if he had made a definitive call. Either yes or no on Obstruction. The cop-out of saying "We couldn't exonerate the President" shot himself . Prosecutor's don't do that. They either charge or say No Charges and let it go. He proved he was there to either charge the president of provide material for an impeachment. He didn't charge and provided only fodder for discussion on Impeachment. He didn't clearly serve either Justice or the Democrats. A bad place to be from a historical point of view.
