As former South Carolina GOP congressman Trey Gowdy said Friday, that fact that Mueller’s probe is over won’t stop angry ‘broke brain’ Democrats from continuing to pretend like POTUS has done something wrong. The shenanigans will continue.

      I actually heard Nancy Pelosi yesterday saying that impeachment is necessary “to save our democracy.”
      What gets me is that all of these leftists think that when they finally take over and have full power, that they will be the ones left in charge, at the top, the “dear Leaders”. They do t realize that their usefulness will be at an end, and the real bosses behind everything will drop them like a hot brick and send them to the gulags with the rest of us. The only good thing about that is we will finally be able to beat the crap out of them.

    I am supporting Trump no matter what! The Deep State and the Deep State Media are trying to get rid of him. He’s not one of them so they want him out. We need a housecleaning to rid our government of these traitors. It was a coup attempt. Barr needs to investigate, and the heads of the plotters must roll!

    The thing about impeachment is that it is not a criminal prosecution, it is a political prosecution. It not truly that the President or other official has broken the law but that enough Representatives want them out and have the political capital to make it happen. The sole saving grace is that the senate mus convict the president of the charges levided by the house. This is something that has never been don.
    If memory serves me correctly only 1 or sitting federal judge has been impeached. in modern times. Not sure about the early 1800's.
    Succesful conviction is difficult requiring 2/3 vote of the senate.. A very high bar as it shold be.

      Our impeachment, when it comes to the vote on the President in the House, is as close to a vote of no confidence in parliamentary systems as we can come. The difference, thankfully, is that it does not disrupt government by forcing early elections, and the more political slant it has, makes a conviction extremely unlikely. The perception to voters, if the Democrats persist in this folly, will be that this is all a waste of time.

    Am I noticing some backlash in the Democratic Party? Some 'moderates' seem to be waking up. And what did that worker in Bernie's campaign mean when he said 'Bernie isn't a Socialist! He is a Democratic Socialist? Someone please explain!

      "Democratic Socialist" is the new catch-phrase that they use to pretend that their brand of socialism is going to be different than every other failed attempt at socialism. That way they can ignore all the failures and talk about the bright success because their socialism is "Democratic".

      I take is as, He's a Communist. Stalin said that and he meant communism.

      But I bet you the dummy thinks it means that their socialist state will be democratically run...but if you think about it...so is England and their system still sucks and people are not happy. No matter how they vote, the "State" Still runs their lives and decides what rights they have.

        You are entirely correct, OUC. I read that Socialist translates into Communist. What's wrong with those people? Surely they aren't buying into this. Some Bernie bum (campaign worker) was on TV last night and he was positively drooling about Bernie. You'd think he was the Savior of our world!

            Their wannabe commie religion was already breaking their brains before Trump and his wife came down that iconic escalator.
            Trump's resistance to their pathetic (despite puppet master organized) massed wave after wave attacks only scattered what was left of their brains like a F5 wind force.
            Now Fake News reminds me of the excited pack of bouncing up and down brainless barking Chihuahuas I used to see behind my ex-wife's grandmother's screen door..
