Watch this video, and realize he is talking about 1953, and the fact he uncovered foundations such as The Ford Foundation and Carneigie that actually admit they are and have been, driving education systems in the country to modify history, teach it and teach that a collectivist single world government (or unified with Russia, then) was their goal. Translate that to what has happened in education, and the fact there is one company who supplies all the textbooks to all 50 states, and you can begine to see the deep state is not a conspiracy theory, but a conspiracy fact. It has been alive and well and moving slowly to their goal, and Ayn Rand saw it and encapsulated it in Atlas Shrugged. I was sunned to listen to this, as he basically describes the deep state plan, and how they would accomplish it, and the fact it was a Republican effort to investigate, then kill it, with demonrats opposed. That means this has been an effort by persons in both parties, who knew a lot of this was going on at the time. I just wish they would get these Carneigie minutes and transcribe them and release them, as it would wake people up to how they have been lied to in schools for generations.

Agreed. Even the quote at the end was telling,

"They are the heirs of all the murderous ideologies of the 20th century. By sacrificing human life to serve their radical visions -- by abandoning every value except the will to power -- they follow in the path of fascism and Nazism and totalitarianism."

This is where George Bush was talking about terrorism inside and outside the United States.

Yes, so many books, all telling us what was going on, interviews like this one, the information has been there all along, if people would just believe and stop listening to the lies.... But then, they did the same thing in AS, and AR captured it very well. That may be why it resonates, since it may have been published as fiction, but was created from reality.

According to the interview it was non-fiction in 1909.
    (1984 was written in 1949.)

I guess we could make a series of hats, since there is "Atlas Shrugged: Now Non Fiction" we can just keep going with 1984: Now Non Fiction" for a collectable series?

If you did not want to watch for an hour of the video, the above link is the transcript. Mr. Dodd was old and in ill health when this was made, and died shortly there after.

As he says, it is not the capitalists, but the minions who took over running the foundations., They had a lot of money, power and influence.

Yes, this little gem has been hiding in plain sight all the time. It is a stunning revelation that what we call the "deep state" has existed, and does exist, and is entrenched in our social structure at many levels. It seeks the total destruction of the United States as it was constituted. It is not a theory, it is a fact. I am sure there is more to follow.

Tax exempt foundations should not even exist in a free society. They are not private property in the true meaning of the term, and their decisionmakers have little accountability to anyone regarding the ideologies that their foundations promote.

After the capitalists death the shister globalist bankers take control and install their puppets. When operating with their exposed agenda, should they enjoy tax exempt status? Speaking of Foundations Slick and the Witch have some serious issues.

If they want to discover the true freedom of socialism they should take a field trip to Venezuela and talk to real people.

It has been a brilliant ploy to bring the country to socialism by teaching children that socialism is freedom and let them grow up and demand it and wherever the little socialists are employed they bring it about in their daily lives. If they apply for political office no matter which party they are affiliated with they will embark to employ and write into law (the right to violence) all of its socialists ends with little direction from the top.

Ford, Carnegie, Rockefeller were the names of very successful capitalists.
Mind-boggling how foundations built upon their names would conspire for so many years to undermine the very capitalist system that allowed their namesakes to prosper.
It wasn't Russia they originally wanted us to team up with. It was the freaking Soviet Union!

I can think of no other response other than "stunning." This totally and completely re-orients my understanding of the last sixty or seventy years.

Taken as an aggregate it clearly illustrate Ayn Rands position that government will gravitate to collectivism and looting, if given enough freedom to run...

Great informative interview . Yup , coming from The Carnegie Foundation for World Peace. (Choke) Strategizing how to get the US in to a war. Successful in their goal eight years later.
111 years later and they are still at it.

The second real bombshell revealed is this data from the actual minutes of the Carniegie Foundation, and their interpretation of the minutes listed over the years:

We are now at the year nineteen hundred and eight, which was the year that the Carnegie Foundation began operations. And, in that year, the trustees meeting, for the first time, raised a specific question, which they discussed throughout the balance of the year, in a very learned fashion. And the question is this: Is there any means known more effective than war, assuming you wish to alter the life of an entire people? And they conclude that, no more effective means to that end is known to humanity, than war. So then, in 1909, they raise the second question, and discuss it, namely, how do we involve the United States in a war?

Well, I doubt, at that time, if there was any subject more removed from the thinking of most of the People of this country, than its involvement in a war. There were intermittent shows in the Balkans, but I doubt very much if many people even knew where the Balkans were. And finally, they answer that question as follows: we must control the State Department.

And then, that very naturally raises the question of how do we do that? They answer it by saying, we must take over and control the diplomatic machinery of this country and, finally, they resolve to aim at that as an objective. Then, time passes, and we are eventually in a war, which would be World War I. At that time, they record on their minutes a shocking report in which they dispatch to President Wilson a telegram cautioning him to see that the war does not end too quickly. And finally, of course, the war is over.

At that time, their interest shifts over to preventing what they call a reversion of life in the United States to what it was prior to 1914, when World War I broke out. At that point, they come to the conclusion that, to prevent a reversion, we must control education in the United States. And they realize that is a pretty big task. To them it is too big for them alone.

So they approach the Rockefeller Foundation with a suggestion: that portion of education which could be considered domestic should be handled by the Rockefeller Foundation, and that portion which is international should be handled by the Endowment.

They then decide that the key to the success of these two operations lay in the alteration of the teaching of American History. So, they approach four of the then most prominent teachers of American History in the country -- people like Charles and Mary Byrd. Their suggestion to them is this, “Will they alter the manner in which they present their subject”” And, they get turned down, flatly.

So, they then decide that it is necessary for them to do as they say, i.e. “build our own stable of historians." Then, they approach the Guggenheim Foundation, which specializes in fellowships, and say” “When we find young men in the process of studying for doctorates in the field of American History, and we feel that they are the right caliber, will you grant them fellowships on our say so? And the answer is, “Yes.”

So, under that condition, eventually they assemble twenty (20), and they take these twenty potential teachers of American History to London. There, they are briefed in what is expected of them -- when, as, and if they secure appointments in keeping with the doctorates they will have earned.

That group of twenty historians ultimately becomes the nucleus of the American Historical Association. And then, toward the end of the 1920's, the Endowment grants to the American Historical Association four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) for a study of our history in a manner which points to what this country look forward to, in the future.

That culminates in a seven-volume study, the last volume of which is, of course, in essence, a summary of the contents of the other six. The essence of the last volume is this: the future of this country belongs to collectivism, administered with characteristic American efficiency.
