In 2 generations in this land of the free we have altered how we raise and care for Kids.
No longer are children allowed to play in their neighborhoods with out Parental eyes on them.
They can't go to the candy store or playground by themselves. it is vastly different from when I grew up and I am certain many on this forum see the same thing.
It is because of child abduction. the perps are not looking for a friend to play checkers with.
Do you find it unusual that anytime a child abuse ring is exposed it is debunked as false.
Franklin cover up , McMartin daycare , Comet Pizzagate among a few. They always are just a crazy conspiracy Theory. It is easy to debunk, not because they are false it is for three main reasons.
No 1. understandably no one wants to talk about it.
No.2 Its just a crazy conspiracy Theory.
No.3 Many of the victims just disappear.

Cathy O'Brien didn't disappear here is her story.

This needs to stop no ifs and or buts.

When me dino was growing up during the Fifties, I could be gone for hours on my bicycle and my parents would not be worried about it.
I just better be home by supper time. Had to peddle a long ways to get my hands on the nearest comic books at a drug store.
On a wall calendar above my PC desk, I'm looking at a Norman Rockwell painting of the sort that would appear on The Saturday Evening Post my parents subscribed to. Those were the good old days when kids could be kids for feeling safe.
When I was raising my own kids, my wife at the time was super protective of them. Noticed then that kids no longer went to school on bikes. Just with parents or on school buses are students transported to and from school even down here in Sweet Home Alabama where we can at least still protect ourselves with guns. .

I grew up at the same time and at 10 years old in 1962 I could hop on my bike with may fishing pole, worms and a couple PBJ sandwiches and be gone all day right after I got my chores done. The stream was about 2 miles from home and I fish many miles of it all summer long. We lived in a very small village and I remember one new guy moved in and worked at the grocery store. He got busted molesting a young kid in the back room and when the word got out of his misdeeds a few of the men in town paid him a late night visit and lumped him up pretty bad. They also helped him move after he got out of the hospital. No cops got involved but the few cops around knew exactly what happened and why. In the nearby town we had cops that walked the streets and they had free will to rough up any punks and certainly any bad guys they came across and no one gave it any thought. I got walked by the cop one day from the theater to where my dad worked because I was being an asshole. My feet hardly touched the ground during the walk and my ass was rather sore from the whipping dad gave me after he thanked Office Joe.

We didn't have so many liberalism is a mental disorder sickos walking around back then.
Socialists, not just communists, were very much looked down upon.
Now they are being assembly line indoctrinated to be graduated from colleges. Refuseniks (as the Soviet Union used to call free thinkers) get bad grades and are flunked out.
The most idiotic of socialists are now being put into political offices by so-called American voters.
Degenerates of all sorts and illegal aliens are now heroes pampered by misled sheeple.
All this encouraged by the libtarded. spin meisters of Fake News~"OMG! Candidate Obama just told Joe the Plumber that he wants to spread the wealth around! Let's pry Comrade Obama's foot from his mouth by digging up dirt on that Joe the Plumber."
"Oh, those dirty rotten anti-abortion Catholic Covington kids. Let's make 'em pay for wearing those evil MAGA hats! Let's make what kids did relect on Trump!"
"Let's by ignoring protect that Virginia governor from wanting to comfortably kill a late term abortion after its mother gives birth to it."
"Oh, no! Now that smae stupid dipstick's wearing black face! in a yearbook! Let's all rip his guts out and chew off his face!"

Part of the problem now is just plain numbers. There are just plain more people in the world now than there were in the 50's/60's. Stands to reason that in that increased crowd there are more sicko's.
And now that the completion of the commie manifesto plank of taking over the education system is firmly in place, MOST of the new additions to the world population are being taught all the wrong things. The dam (USA) can withstand only so much pressure. I fear we don't have a lot of time left. I feel fortunate to have come along during a great time (50's 60's).

I knew a lot of the pedophile information, but not the organ harvesting. Makes sense. I wondered what happened when the children were too old for the users.
My husband grew up in a time when he and friends got on their bikes, rode miles, and were not seen until dusk, safe. I walked around our New Mexico town, where there were two bars downdown, Mexican and Indians. I could walk past there any time, except Friday night, when it seemed stabbings happened between the two groups. It was life, but it did not touch school kids. We were happy and innocent. Now, our schools get into kids heads, and into family homes. Hillary let us know we do not own our kids. But, look what she is. The pedophile group has been waiting fo years to become legal, and tey have grown in size, until they are an evil empire. It is sick and imoral, but then these are the same poeple who call a wall, immoral.

I grew up in the late 70s and graduated in 1985.
I would hop on my bike and ride 7-9 miles to the BEACH, or 16-20 miles to Stony Creek Park.

Without even telling my parents where I was going!

Sometimes, I'd get a Talking to... Because when my parents ASKED... I told them... The TRUTH, imagine that...

I guess there're many people out in the world who are like Cathy OBrien. I'm not one of them. I have written before that I had a young female Prof. that filled my head about Revolution. I even participated in a campus shut down (College yrs '68-'73). I'm waiting for the day when an actual Revolution occurs to sweep away the Swamp.

we recently buried a beautiful lady (spread her ashes on Saturday). She was in the military and was brought into the MK Ultra program. Her stories were so bizarre as to be unbelievable. At first, I thought this 65 year old woman was a bit "fruity". But the salient points are... Her doctors found and removed a couple implanted devices. She suffered migraines, and she was deathly afraid of MAINSTREAM MEDIA. (the scene from FireFly with Summer Glau comes to mind). She was disgusted by the Jesuits, but helped her church and helped feed those less fortunate. She had an inability to bond normally with males from all of the "games" she called them. If someone was attracted to her physically, it scared her.

Again, I thought it was a bit extreme, but I let her talk. She talked about being able to read peoples auras, and just INTUIT things as well as remember things very vividly.

When I watched the Video with Cathy O'Brien, it made my skin crawl. I had officially met an unhealed version of Cathy. Someone who by her own words escaped before they were to kill her! (now, why they did not find her and do something, I am not sure, she feels they were keeping tabs on her to see what, if any, of her memories she recovered. She did not recover many.)

Thank you for watching and responding. May your beautiful friend Rest In Peace. The type of trauma that an individual can survive from is inspiring. But there are scars so to speak that can’t be seen. Except the physical branding that Cathy was a victim of , those scars are permanent. The brain tries to compartmentaliz the traumatic events so the person can still function. Cathy talks about certain sections of the brain may be accessed because of this.
The video accessed by taping the Title of this post A Field McConnell lecture actually is much easier to watch because of his delivery and his taunting of the Perps. He really names the names of the true perps.

I am not as old as Dino or Gary but I grew up in the 60's (born in 59) and had free rein in my neighborhood. Me and my bike covered everywhere, parks, ball fields, stored, downtown, all over. I had to be home by dark was the rule, if the streetlight came on, then I had to be home. Both parents worked, so I was a latch key kid. No Walmart and crime was a rarity and only done by ne'er-do-wells. It was a simpler time, I always say, I grew up in a different time and a different culture.

Based on what I'm seeing as a family man...I've come to the opinion that way too many kids (especially boys) are in fatherless homes. Just a few nights ago I was driving my son and his friend home. As they sat in the back seat talking I was shocked at how stupid and senseless this boy sounded. His dad is a loser and wimp who lives in another town over a hour away. I talked to my wife about it the next day, I was so disturbed by it. At one point my son interrupted him when the boy was talking about beating up a hobo and said, "Uh..that's not funny." The kid didn't know better. Just directionless... It's possible that most kids are being raised in a similar situation. And - note that the peeeds look for kids who come from a somewhat unstable home environment. None of this bodes well. I'm regularly trying to explain such kids' behavior for my son. Often, it starts with, "Timmy's dad doesn't live with Timmy..."

Americans, it seems, are just throwing the future away...

It does seem that the two parent family is actively being deconstructed. This whole thing is making people become more dependent upon the state. Some times I feel in the future the state will just take the babies after being born and train them until the age of voting.

I have been saying before that most problems with dysfunctional kids start at home. Many parents don't want (or can't) deal with raising their children. They are happy to let them go anywhere, parties, friends, but don't bother them. These kids grow up as weeds, with no direction or sense of responsibility.

No wonder they are all too willing to absorb the corrosive doctrines of professors if they reach college age.

This is something I have observed growing over many years. Over some purposeful or even accidental offense, a growing number of “young” activist individuals are “going to pieces” “breaking down” going all emotional, losing their self control and their ability to reason. It even happened in my brother’s family after some leftist indoctrination. My nephew has since been sent to a special school focused on learning about personal responsibility and such.

Part of this is the indoctrination that emotional stability and control is bad - part of toxic masculinity, and "letting out your feelings" is healthy. Even as a young child, those statements made no sense to me, as I gauged how unsettling it was to get my sinuses congested, my throat sore, and my muscles shaking when I "let go." How could such unhealthy feelings be good for you? No adult admonished me for keeping my emotions under control, but no one told me I had to, either.

I have been told my outer demeanor is kind and welcoming, contrary to the false belief that keeping it together will make you cold and unfeeling. I show compassion to those who need support, and can be quietly intimidating to those who need to be set straight. We used to admire people who could keep it together, but now our youth are being told that a steady demeanor is dangerous, and a sign of deep-seated hostility. Something's seriously wrong.

They should be lionized for their composure under duress, and posed as the real example of admirable young men. That, even more than the MAGA hats, was the reason the left attacked them so viciously.

Somethimes it is simply Good and Evil.
Evil abhors good. Today the left for the most part represents serious Evil and they have gotten this far due to many Evil Republicans complicity. With Trump that is changing. He has broken the shackles of blackmail for some and resigned the others.

He is taking these cases pro bono, to show how strongly he feels about the distorted way that the press and celebrities have maligned these young men. May good triumph over evil.

Yes, I was thinking of that, too, his composure throughout the charade with the drummer.

Some lefty histrionic started to say that his "stare" was aggressive, racist and disrespectful (a word the left loves to use) , but they did not get very far with it b/c the video proved otherwise.

This is totally true and one of the biggest problems of our time. I reject those who would belittle these kids and call them names. That's a special kind of jerk. We need to give them opportunities as young children to try things on their own, and sometimes fail and sometimes succeed. That means sometimes watching them struggle, not when they're really upset, but struggling with something minor. "You can handle this."

"Do you think [kids being incapable of handling event minor accidents] is a bigger problem than 460,000 "
Far and away. Children missing because a random weirdo snatched them almost never it happens. It's rarer than the rarest freak perils. Kids are at orders of magnitude more lacking agency, growing up with things happening to them, never growing into a functional adult who makes things happen.

Most missing children involve custody disputes or children on the cusp of adulthood who chose to leave home. Those are both serious problems. They have nothing to do with sheltering kids from minor perils. I actually think encouraging kids to go out in the world and talk to strangers in public only actually decreases the risk them going missing.

I assume you are you telling this to your own children?

If so, you must have total confidence in our changed world (changed for the worse).

But I suspect you are one of those who ignore serious issues in the name of social engineering, where everyone is happy and content, even though there was just a rape case in your neighborhood.

I am also reminded of the migrant crisis in Europe where the police are not allowed to report on sex crimes committed by the migrants, b/c it would fly in the face of the left's policy on tolerance, despite statistics that prove it is wrong.

Good luck with your optimistic (or rather ignorant) beliefs. Don't let the facts interfere with it.

"I assume you are you telling this to your own children?"
Absolutely. They are 8 and 10. We encourage them to talk to strangers, but never go off to a secluded place or get near their car. If I see them having a dispute about something like what to play or whether someone cheated, as long as it's getting out of hand I let them handle it.

"If so, you must have total confidence in our changed world (changed for the worse)."
I don't know what total confidence exists for this issue. When they're out, my mind often goes to the worst. I think it will be like that all my life. I am happy that the world has gotten so much safer, in terms of lower crime, less war, less poverty, better communication, better medicine, and so on. Despite living in a safe, more prosperous, more just world that in most of human history, I have a normal level of parental paranoia. It think that may just be a human trait.

"But I suspect you are one of those who ignore serious issues in the name of social engineering, where everyone is happy and content, even though there was just a rape case in your neighborhood."
I don't know what social engineering has to do it, but I am one who will be out after a rape or horrible crime. Most people in my neighborhood are law-abiding. Some of us (several on my block) keep guns as accessible as fire extinguishers for the extremely unlikely scenario will need them. We don't have to be scared.

Timing indeed. Closs was one of those rare cases that almost never happens.

I'm not knowledgeable about the other case, but it does not sound like a random weirdo. It sounds like a teenager running away. It shouldn't be lumped in with weirdos randomly snatching kids off the street.

The extremely rare cases of someone snatching a kid at random stand out because they're emotionally unsettling. They're like mass shootings. People want to know what's the lesson, i.e. what freedom or activity can we take away to prevent such a tragedy ever from happening again. That's the wrong question to be asking. I reminded of disclaimer I signed to participate in one of those walks to fight some disease. It said "I understand walking involves risk." It does, and that's okay.

Rare case indeed .These cases of stranger abduction amount to about 20,000 a year in the US. You are correct that many are runaways , family or family friends or neighbors in other words not strangers . With that said the numbers are alarming. Research shows that of the 58,000 non-family abductions each year in the United States, 63% involved a family friend, long-term acquaintance, neighbour, caretaker, babysitter or person in a position of authority and 37% involved a stranger. The number of complete strangers is not insignificant but it remains far smaller than other offenders who have easy and legitimate access to children. (Source: National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, Children at Greatest Risk of Abduction When Going To and From School or School-Related Activities).

"Why the fascination on how they "break"?"
It's not fascination. Failure without breaking is part of life. I purposely let my kids have success and failures. Failure isn't bad. When we max out on weight lifting, we lift to "failure". Businesses help customers by trying things, most of which fail. The key in business and life is that they not be fatal failures. I think by letting them have a little minor failures now and encouraging them to grow up and get what they want, I hope they don't break when something happens like they get wrongly fired or someone does them wrong in some other way or life curses them with a freak accident or disease.

I read stories about people at age 20 breaking down because they're without their emotional support fluffy. I don't mean it metaphorically; this is really a thing now. If people have some rare mental problem, I can accept that, but I do not accept staying like that, sucking your thumb and clutching a fluffy.

I heard something on the news a few days ago to the effect that 36,000 people a year disappear! This figure included children, I think. It is scary to consider. 36,000 people just disappear? I don't let my great child out of my sight. I have a fence completely around my property and four outside gates and three inside gates and I am still outside with her.

We watch our grandkids like a hawk. But they are six and under.
Very sad to say your numbers are way low.
In the United Kingdom, an estimated 112,853 children are reported missing every year. In the United States, an estimated 460,000 children are reported missing every year.

Don't tell me that! I also have five dogs. I'll let them out with us. One a Great Dane can make it to the fence in 60 seconds. Pretty good timing. She is a real bitch!

Love dogs so much that we will not get another.
They are way to hard to say good by to. Done it too many times. Another one could break our heart.

Yeah. Friend of mine established a cemetery for our doggies. Funeral and all. I had Sam, my black Pug, for 17 years. I will never get over him. But one of my patients found Fred in the middle of the street in February 2011 and I don't think he had even been weaned. He is a charmer and you can't ignore him. Foxy collapsed in our driveway and my daughter-in-law brought her in the house. She only weighed 6 pounds, her nails had never been cut and she was covered in fleas. She couldn't even bark for two months. That little Chiwowwow (as we think she is) now rules the roost! She is a love bug!

Sounds kind of like my folks who retired in the Florida Panhandle. They basically live in the woods. They have been a magnet for strays.
In 24 years they have cared for over 16 dogs mostly mutts who just showed up one to three at a time. Some more skittish than others. The dogs are fiercely protective of them. Now they just have Two.
One went missing for a day and my dad was distraught, thinking it went off to pass away.
Thankfully it returned. Two days later Hurricane Michael blew by and devastated the area. Out of power for a month. Millions and million of trees snapped off ten feet from the ground. 100’ Cedars , Scrub oaks just unreal power. Thank your lucky stars today cause you never know what tomorrow will bring.

OK , good question. Short answer is us , it’s the people.
Q’ s short answer is “their symbolism will be their downfall”.
      The long answer follows.
Do many people really know what is going on? I dare say NO. Why is it that in 30 - 40 years
parents can’t let their kids out of sight ? Weird nobody talks about why?
Oh yes safety that’s why. Do something about it . Hmmm So Let’s digress.
Think about 120 yrs ago.... a rancher finds his
Cattle being devoured one at a time overnight when his watchful eye is closed. Is his solution to stay up all night ? Maybe , untill he knows what the cause is.
Now What does he do to a predator ? ANYTHING he can to stop it. He damn sure doesn’t let a news paper or neighbor tell him it wasn’t the wolf pack.
That it is just a “conspiracy theory” from anti-canine crowd.

Sadly the brainwashing worldwide by the #@&$_=+$#&_holes in the media . Many stories of the Centers of Abuse (if they are not Catholic Churches) they are all just mass paranoia or crazy phony satanist ritual stories. The Catholic Churches and the Jesuits should have been burned to the ground for the unwillingness to stop this horror. They get a free pas Same thing with The Monarchies. Both are part of this Cabal .
The “Enemy of the people “ The Fake News. They have told everyone not to look here, nothing to see just kooky conspiracy nuts making something out of nothing.
Not just that , but many Judges have been placed along with Freaks as Atty Generals and on and on.
Now these freaks have a big problem. It is the internet.
It’s “The Great Awakening”. The truth can’t be pushed under the rug. So like Field McConnell is doing , we bring light to the problem. At the same time we have a President who is committed to bringing them down. Stop the wars . Wars are like the fall harvest for these deletes. Well an odd thing , pro abortion or anti abortion is a litmus test for the electorate . Along with that. What if with no racists and no Pee dough files. If people become aware and the creeps are exposed. This could stop it.

Rancher friend of mine had a bone pile!?! I asked him what varmits were in there and he said,"all kinds". I didn't ask what the bulldozer was doing sitting beside the bone pile. I decided to mind my own business. 4800 acres very near the Border.

It is not as if kidnappings and molestations have become more common. They haven't. Pedophilia has existed in the animal world (humans included) since the dawn of sexual reproduction, as has theft of offspring by childless adults. I too remember the days of the 50's and 60's when riding my bike across town was commonplace among children my age.

But when a child was abducted or abused in some small town in Michigan, no one heard of it in Alabama, or vice versa. Only the kidnapping of a Lindbergh or a Getty or a Hurst were national news. Today, any offense against a child makes "front page" among the hundreds of news hungry internet and cable channels, making all such offenses appear as if they are in your home town. Add to that the child protection industry, the psycho-trauma fixers and schools and police reinforcing parental paranoia with programs of "no touch" and "stranger danger", and it's no wonder our kids are all overweight if they're not in organized sports. They're afraid to leave the house!

Riding one’s bike across town was fairly common up through the 80s as well. Your point about the media frenzy when something happens anywhere is pointedly salient. Regardless of intent the effect of inculcating unnecessary fear is unmistakable. Based on sheer basic statistics you can scare the public everywhere on average everyday. Indeed this effect is a significant chunk of the impetus behind the current cult of identity.

Inculcating kids in fear of strangers is a devastatingly bad idea. The kid who grows up afraid to talk to strangers is the kid who can’t engage with new people as an adult, who can’t ask for directions in a new city, who cries foul the moment someone says something they are unsure of scream “micro aggression”. Children raised to fear strangers are the ones who get taken advantage of as adults because they don’t know how to navigate social interactions. These are the same children who demand “safe spaces” so they can only be around non-strangers.

And before someone questions this from a “you don’t have kids then” claim, you’re dead wrong. And yes we raised our girls to not fear strangers but instead to keep a critical and wary eye on their surroundings. Sheltering kids from unfamiliar adults is probably a great way to raise a sociopath. Teaching them how to interact reasonably with adults is probably not a good way to raise a sociopath.

These are the averages . the number of stranger abductions in a city of 1,000,000 is about 60 kids a year.

That doesn't jive with the data I have seen. The data I've seen over the years is fairly consistently for total stranger abductions per year in the U.S. is in the 60-150 range at the 95% confidence level. Even if we doubled that, the average you gave doesn't match up given we have far more than 3 cities in the U.S. with more than a million people. Indeed IIRC we have about 10.

These numbers have been pretty consistent since at least the 1980s. But you do have to look beyond the headlines and at the actual data. Most will list "missing" or "non-family missing" figures and let you assume those are all the stereotypical stranger kidnapping, when after digging into the details you'll find that out of the tens of thousands of missing less than two hundred were the stereotypical kidnapping. Part of that is because one kid running away 7 times and getting reported as missing (or even reported as having run away) will be included in the annual total 7 times.

The emphasis on the stereotypical kidnapping is crucial because of how the large numbers are gathered. Beyond the above note of recidivist runaways are the questionnaires used to come up with them. Often things that are not regarded as kidnappings/abductions are classified as non-family abductions. Bus driver take a wrong turn and caretaker called the school when the kid wasn't home on time? That's another (for each kid called about in one category, and each kid not called about on the bus in another). Yet if the victim knew or was acquainted with the perpetrator it is not classified as stereotypical.

So with all of that I am quite curious as to where you got that "average" from and how they came up with it.

National Incidence Studies of Missing, Abducted, Runaway, and Thrownaway Children Oct, 2003
There were an estimated 58,200 child victims of non- family abduction, defined more broadly to include
all nonfamily perpetrators (friends and acquaintances as well as strangers) and crimes involving lesser amounts of forced movement or detention in addition to the more serious crimes entailed in stereotypical kidnappings.
            ■ Fifty-seven percent of children abducted by a non- family perpetrator were missing from caretakers for at least 1 hour, and police were contacted to help locate 21 percent of the abducted children.
            ■ Teenagers were by far the most frequent victims of both stereotypical kidnappings and nonfamily abductions.
            ■ Nearly half of all child victims of stereotypical kid- nappings and nonfamily abductions were sexually assaulted by the perpetrator.

None of that supports the perported average for cities above 1m. I’m familiar with both versions of those analyses and they both explicitly put the range of stereotypical child absuctions in the range I mentioned - under 200 total. Indeed do you see what is missing? That figure. The NISMART studies do not give such an average.

It is important to understand that the. NISMART reports are based on random surveys. The one you reference is known as NISMART-2 and covers, IIRC, 1999. Rhe NISMART-2 placed the estimate at 115 of which 90 qualified as reported missing. This is the 95% threshold since even the crime data based portion was based on a survey of under 100 departments.

The criminal report studies show a similarly tiny number for total stereotypical a suctions. The DoJ comments on the NISMART data thusly:

“Contrary to the common assumption that abduction is a principal reason why children become missing, the NISMART–2 findings indicate that only a small minority of missing children were abducted, and most of these children were abducted by family members
(9 percent of all caretaker missing children). Close to 3 percent of caretaker missing children were abducted by a nonfamily perpetrator; among these, an extremely small number (90) were victims of stereo- typical kidnapping.”

Again, to get to the “stranger danger” numbers you have to filter out things like kids getting on the wrong bus, bus drivers going off route, and in NISMART-3 parents freaking out because their kid didn’t answer their cell phone. These incidents are counted in the larger “non-family addiction” numbers and are not what people talk or think about when taking about kidnapping by strangers. Yet these are examples taken right out of NISMART surveys that get categorized as “non-family abduction”.

Then again a fear industry is hard to sustain when fewer than 100 out of some seventy million kids fall into the stereotypical abduction category each year. So you have to be vague and broaden the criteria while using laden words like “abduction” to describe non-kidnapping scenarios and let the recipient’s imagination do the work for you.

"These are the same children who demand “safe spaces” so they can only be around non-strangers."
They become adults who need emotional support fluffies and classes in "adulting".

My guess is you did not watch the videos.
The animal world has nothing to do with it. Humans have murdered humans since the dawn as well. We arm our selves to combat that and try to keep our enemies at bay. What we have today is a an organized group That has reached into the highest levels in Govt , Military , Intel , Church , Entertainment,Judicial , Child do not care facilities and many so called charities.

My post is why we have not done anything about it. And that is because it is covered up. People do not know what is going on.
