The “Immoral Wall”

Once upon a time a wall guarded a tree full of fruit. One day a small child walked up to the wall and looked at the fruit, and wanted it. The child tried to climb the wall, but could not get over it.
“I want that fruit behind you and you are stopping me,” the child told the wall. The wall responded, “Go to the gate and ring the bell.”
The child screamed, “I want that fruit now! You are an immoral wall stopping me from getting the fruit I want!”
The wall sighed, “I can do nothing about it. I’m just a wall. Go to the gate and ring the bell.”
But the child angrily kicked the wall, and hurt their foot.
The child cried, “Ouch! Look what you made me do! I’m going to tell everyone I know that all you walls are immoral!”
The wall watched while the child ran away awkwardly toward a nearby house. The child wailed, “Mommy! Mommy! That immoral wall won’t give me what I want!”
Pelosi stepped outside of the house to find out what the ruckus was about.

On my Nevada property tax bill, almost all of the charges are for schools. But you are right, I am not sure about other localities. If there was any way I could get OUT of paying for public schools (which are terrible here), I would do it.

I bellieve that depends on which state you live in. But if a landowner rents out apartments, the tenants are also financing the school system, because the property tax is paid through their rent. So it looks as if nobody is getting out of it.

And with all that compulsory, government-sponsored education, that makes it even worse. (And the supposed "freedom" that parents have to send their children to alternative schools is rather illusory, since they have to pay taxes for the government schools, use them or not). Plus those of us who don't have children and don't believe in it are also taxed. (Though perhaps I personally shouldn't say that, as I no longer have a job, though I am trying to get one).

    So True.
Walls and borders are created by governments and people.
On one hand, human rights do should not end where a border begins, but on the other hand, I don't want to become a dumping ground for undesirables or an overflow for countries who are grossly overpopulated.

the reason for the wall to NOT be built is to fulfill Cloward and Piven in the US just as is happening in Europe....

$5Au recommends sending captured illegals to an Aleusian island to await their immigration hearings. Give them tools and fishing gear to build shelters and feed themselves. Any rescue ships sent by Soros et al to be denied entry to all USA ports. Ignore any order to close program by lib judge citing Ovomit precedent during BP gulf crisis.

Either they find out about the facts of reality when young, or they find it out later when they are looking through bars.....

Its rough to raise kids today, with all the destructive influences they will be exposed to - media, friends, emotional manipulation, etc.

I have no children, never did have any. Due to circumstances. But I do like them. I did not, even when young, accept that I had some kind of duty to have them, no matter what my father (may he rest in peace) said, and I told him so. But I do think they are fun. But I have no notion that there is something necessarily wrong with corporal punishment when a child misbehaves. I don't go along with abuse; but reasonable corporal punishment I do believe in.

With some Professors if you don’t admit that Karl Marx was one of the greatest geniuses that ever lived you can’t get good grades.

It isn't the exposure to ideas which corrupts people, but their unthinking acceptance of them. ;) And I'd be far more worried about professors who made it their goal to flunk a student who disagreed with their ideology.

That being said, I'll see what happens, but I'm not too worried given their choice of institution and the friends they keep. Now if only I could come to grips with meeting my potential sons-in-law... Let's just say that I've already told my girls that before they say "yes" I get to meet with and have a personal discussion with their potential suitors on the firing range. One of the qualifications is that they have to outshoot my daughters. =D

Yep. Their news bias, like what was a horrific word, “Nazi,” is just something we have gotten so use to being used all the time for just about anything not fitting the leftist agenda.

Or if the exposure to mostly leftist ideas in college corrupts them. Such terrible influences abound in this culture...

    Yeah, you are right.

CNN is never embarrassed by concocting "news" that fit their agenda.

Why is CNN news in trouble, they deny opinions that do not fit their politically biased stories all the time?

Oh yea...they got caught this time.

See I've just determined that you have to fight fire with fire, so I've made it my goal (with my wife's permission, of course) to populate this world with as many critical thinkers as possible. ;)

My oldest two are now in college (on scholarship because I both refuse to - nor do I have the funds - to pay for them) and they can both cook for themselves, work hard, and balance a checkbook funded by their own labor. I'm quite proud of them. We'll see if my sanity holds out through the rest!

Children today are more undesirable than desirable. I wouldnt want to raise one in this environment, and I have specifically made sure I dont have to.

-Shows how stupid CNN is. Its dead to me, and has been for many years now. Even FOX , with its "fair and balanced" attitude and eye candy airhead commentators is pretty much dead to me also.

exactly. They hate trump and just want to block anything he proposes- anything at all. I am so DONE with our government. I like Trump, but our system is so crooked that he cant do anything of significance within it. Too Bad. Our country is headed for disaster eventually, but I wont be around so experience it. So I just want to get what I can while I am alive
