I'm very happy to have landed in the Gulch. I read Atlas Shrugged about 3 years ago, but was not aware of the gulch (as we all know is how it should be) until a saw a small add in the DVDs for the movie. I have always worked hard in my life and really connected with the thesis in the book that there are many people that don't want to produce, or can't, and feel compelled to make those that produce share by way of regulation. I was always incredulous by those that described me as "lucky" for succeeding, when from my point of view, it was due to 60-80 hour work weeks all through school and in the working world.
