Setting aside all the other errors in math and spirit, just consider what she's saying all the good the money would supposedly do. It's 275 billion per year that give every child a decent education and opportunities. I am for doing that with gov't money. But the gov't already spends 4 trillion dollars a year. Why is another 275 billion, a 6.8% increase, going to move the needle?

It's so easy to do with other people's money. Just like most spending programs, people would stop and think if they had to pay immediately and even more so if it were their money. "275 billion is just 1.5% of our GDP. So if you earn $80k, that's just 50 bucks more out of each semimonthly paycheck. Just think of the children." People would stop and think about the math more.

The spirit of someone else paying for it reminds me of the spirit of the drug war or limiting gun rights, that the gov't is a powerful authority granting rights to and taking care of the people, like a strict but loving parent. That's so wrong and evil.

Notice I didn't call them ladies? Harris is on a rampage to embarrass men like John Kelly, Donald Trump, and Mike Pompeo. Is she for real? We should hire more LGBT's and Muslim men and women in the CIA? She was not elected to demean nice ladies like Kirstjen Nielsen. Harris is mean, jealous, and downright rude! Oppressing another tiny minority group I see. Maybe the next minority group will be those who have too many defensive arms—taking just another tiny bit from the top.
