Not since Al Gore has mankind been this close to extinction. We all got to do something right now! And costs are no matter!

“Devout socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) says that the world will stop spinning in a dozen years if “climate change” is left unchecked. Ocasio-Cortez is pushing a new plan in Congress she calls her “Green New Deal” to confront climate matters.”

I'm assuming by "ringworms" you mean the fungi that cause the fungal infection known as ringworm.
No actual worms are involved with ringworm, only with the hierarchy of the Democratic Party.

OK, so little AL likes law (he was a Senator after all (though as I remember he did not carry his own state), so we pass a law that specifies if you make a prediction about doomsday and it does not come true, you will be sent to Tibet or the Sahara. Never to be listened to again (no predictions beyond 10 years allowed). What we can do is laugh loudly at these fools. As the Bible say, "be not afraid."

Nope , it doesn't work that way or we would be rid of the head crazy of global warming (correction climate change) big bad Al. 13 years after his dooms day prognostication we are still her and unfortunately so is he.

AOC is just dumb enough to be extremely Dangerous. Just ask the folks on the streets of her NY City district who elected her and we will see they have all become drunk on the Kool Aid. I find it outrageously astounding living just 80 miles NW of NYC and the difference in attitudes and thinking between the city folks and us upstaters is amazing. I can't blame it on the drinking water because it comes from here but there is something in the big city environment that makes these folks ignorant.

So if we are still are here in 12 years can AOC be officially banished and not acknowledged in any way? How about we go beck to the first earth Day and document all the predictions made since then that have not come true and banish the fear-mongers who made these useless prognostications. Maybe a super max prison for these folks.

What is frightening about this moron is that she was elected by people who believe her, that is the mob you are dealing with she is their representative.

Just like successful fusion power, climate catastrophe has always been ten years away from happening. In 2003, Al Gore predicted the polar ice caps and Greenland would be ice-free in ten years, and going back to the '70s, we would be in the midst of a new ice age before 1990. Armageddon used to be the property of religious fanatics, and has now been hijacked by Atheist socialists as a nifty way to stir up the mob.

The "renowned" climatologist AOC has spoken. She is the poster child for post rational thinking, the future of the Democratic party.

I have this wicked idea, in keeping with Jack Nicholson's observation that "there is nothing on this Earth sexier...than a woman you have to salute in the morning." Have her pose in a tight-fitting white uniform with baby-blue trim and white jack boots. Make sure that uniform has the designator UNCLIFOR across the chest. (As a formal military abbreviation, UNCLIFOR would stand for United Nations Climate Force.) Have her cradle an AR-18 and point it at the camera. Dynamite!

I first read her statement a couple days ago. I declared to my coworker, "This looks like a jumbled mess." It was rife with jumbled language and "you-know" and "like...". But, I actually heard the audio of it this morning while listening to a podcast on it. Wow! She sounds very challenged.

She's another "clown genius": Say something "directionally correct", even if it's absurdly wrong.

I'm concerned some real urgent problem, a threat more immediate than climate change, something like a nuclear standoff, will occur and we will have a gang of showmen charged with dealing with it.

Yeah, I would miss me too if Alabama's ringworms conspired to get under my skin as does listening to the idiocy of goofy-faced socialists who Demwits have allowed to take over their Jackass Party.

Well, Dino. I am worried about you, our favorite large lizard in The Gulch. I'm afraid that Ms, Ocasio-Cortez has you dying from ringworm before global warming gets you. Evidently, according to her, many people in Alabama are suffering from ringworm and can't afford to go to the doctor. Socialism is the only thing that can fix this widespread problem. Please give yourself a skin check-up. We would miss you.

This woman selectively takes lines from everywhere to make her "point" whatever that is.

"we have to do this right now" comes from Hussein.

Remember that everything he did had an urgency? Right now. Nothing killed the population for hundreds of years but this must be done now to save them.

Wonder when this lunatic will be stopped? She is having a great time in the House, coming up with insane ideas day after day and the crowd gobbles it up.

"There is no such thing as consensus science."

Anyone with even a mild understanding of what science is aware of that.

Of course the mob has no idea, that is why they can be brainwashed by the left.

Considering that today's college graduates are not being thought critical thinking, nobody is left to raise doubt.

Socialism, itself, is a lie. These statements by an ignorant barely literate politician are propaganda. The comparison to Algore is apt. His "global warming" warnings were such lies that those spouting the lies after Algore had to change the title of the false warnings to "climate change" to distance themselves from the earlier obvious lies.
However, their lies about "climate change" have since been proven to be lies as well to anyone with a working brain unimpeded by propaganda.

“Mankind is the major cause of earth’s climate changing.”
The consensus of the allowed climate change scientists is settled. Scientists denying the consensus will be ostracized.
    (I wish this were sarcasm)

“I regard consensus science as an extremely pernicious development that ought to be stopped cold in its tracks. Historically, the claim of consensus has been the first refuge of scoundrels; it is a way to avoid debate by claiming that the matter is already settled. Whenever you hear the consensus of scientists agrees on something or other, reach for your wallet, because you’re being had.

Let’s be clear: the work of science has nothing whatever to do with consensus. Consensus is the business of politics. Science, on the contrary, requires only one investigator who happens to be right, which means that he or she has results that are verifiable by reference to the real world. In science consensus is irrelevant. What are relevant are reproducible results. The greatest scientists in history are great precisely because they broke with the consensus. There is no such thing as consensus science. If it’s consensus, it isn’t science. If it's science, it isn't consensus. Period.”
    - Michael Crichton, MD.
