New York, be careful what you ask for, you just might get it.

"Ocasio-Cortez tweeted that "anything is possible," taking a victory lap upon hearing the news."

    That there is weapons-grade stupid.

Keep demonizing the producers until they stop producing. Then show up and declare that you will fix the destroyed economy. See Venezuela, Maduro.

Interesting that Libertarians and Socialists agree that the taxpayers should not be subsidizing Amazon. However, Libertarians would welcome Amazon if they came with no subsidies. The Socialists see no good in Amazon existing at all.

The south had the advantage 159 years ago and the NYers forced government into an unnecessary war to eliminate the competition. Of course, as looters, they blamed the defeated competition.

Because Bezos wanted to be close to political power.

He got what he wanted. Except not in the way he thought it would work.

But AOC only cares for those making $15./hr. or less. Everyone else is stealing from these poor folks.

Based on what's been published, there would have been 25K jobs with an average salary of $150K. Yes, I know some salaries will be higher, and some will be lower. But I defy this liberal lunatic to explain to those 25,000 people who won't have the chance to get those jobs how an average annual salary of $150,000 is "worker exploitation"--AOC's words, not mine.

Follow the money. Or, actually follow the promises of less money paid in taxes. Meaning less in government coffers. Meaning less for government dependency programs. Money that would be ultimately extracted from producers.

I can't figure out why New York was on Amazon's list in the first place. Almost anywhere else is more business-friendly.

"Gov. Andrew Cuomo expressed his frustration over Amazon's nixed New York City headquarters, saying "politicians put their own narrow political interests above their community""

Now that is the pot calling the kettle black.
    Cuomo is a complete hypocrite.
