    (1) Just because a child dies does not mean that there is a crime involved.
    (2) For there to be a crime involved, in most cases you have to show negligence or willful action. I do not think that either of those could be proven in this case because negligence is not the same thing as stupidity.
    (3) Do you really want him to be imprisoned and then we have to pay for his incarceration? Why not just deport him?

    I saw he had an attorney who was blaming the Border Patrol because we have no first aid stations in the far reaches of New Mexico. I've been through New Mexico and seen miles and miles of nothing!

      It is dangerous on every level to sneak into a country particularly with a child. Of course they will blame the border patrol. The left never takes responsibility for their actions . They need to be a victim. Blame needs to be placed.

        End Game~wide open borders for new Jackass Party voters.
        Heard Rush on the radio a couple weeks ago that open borders is the last hope of the Democrat Party to stay alive.
        Me dino not too sure about that with all the socialist professors churning out a high percentage of indoctrinated students plus all the "play the system" bums living off taxpayer money. .

            You have me dino wondering what a vast majority of Hispanic voters (It still being called the USA?) may decide to do with their gringo minority some day. Gringo ancestors making a Manifest Destiny war prize out of a third of Old Mexico may be seized upon as an issue.
            Hopefully what a Hispanic majority here would not do the same as what a vast majority of Muslims may some day decide to do with a minority of infidels in such places as, say, Sweden, France and Great Britain.
            Yeah, yeah, I'm a politically incorrect big bad bigot for using my dino imagination in such a speculative fashion.

              Speaking of political correctness, I live in New Mexico (almost two years) and data shows over half the residents are Hispanic. I haven't yet checked to see if that is true in other states, but I would think not.

    Interesting. I am sure he did NOT get arrested. Whatever the kid died from was caused by what HE did, not what our border people did.

    The state is uninterested in those it does not have a claim to control. If there were a reward to the state; i.e. gaining more control of the populace, they would be interested. The state claims to be concerned about its citizens but its priority is control of them not protecting them.
