Yes, you would. I'd tell you over a beer. I don't say some things in this medium anymore...just a couple things, really. I've had chance meetings with people that are unbelievable.

The true competition is between "Almost Good, " VS "Worse Than Evil." There no longer is a good anywhere to be found, while our concept of evil is not satisfied to win, but to completely destroy an opponent, regardless of truth, justice , and the American way.

Internet blackout started occurring when the Net Neutrality Act was signed. I won't get into how that all happened. Came to me from a very connected source in a governmental agency. It was just getting started then, and was very covert. Now, it's pretty overt. But...that's the natural progression we've all come to expect.

Hopefully, there are folks working on a block chain like security system that allows control of info like the article DRZarkov posted.

I think I are right that the people not running just don’t see a place for them in the current environment- translation they can’t get rich and/or powerful in government currently. I would tell them to not let the door hit them on their way out...

are you suggesting that the ones not seeking re election are the ones who feel they cant stand the trump agenda and swamp draining?

If you were to look at the Paul Ryan's who are not seeking reelection ,it would give you a different perspective.l

The inventor of the Internet (as we know it) has devised a system that he believes can get around capture and misuse of our personal data: https://www.fastcompany.com/90243936/... . He also is sure it can prevent censorship, and may be the solution to the tyranny of the big tech firms.

I voted for Trump and think that this midterm election is really a re-vote for Trump if we want to keep the democrats from rendering him impotent. I just want the repubs that will support Trump to be elected- not the Paul Ryans of the world.

Hey, I heard a discussion on TV a couple of late nights ago, about the 'need' to limit Google. They agreed it was too big! Said the Government ought to cut back on them! This bothers me greatly. I really get nervous when people want to give the Government additional powers. Good grief. If you read the Constitution, the Congress has limitless power. I didn't see, however, that they have the right to 'investigate' Presidential nominees. Did I miss something?

I wonder then, if the supposed "Facebook" hack, which just happened, was a stage setting so they can just say "oh, some a hole who had your login hacked your account and trashed all your posts...sorry", or an excuse to shut down specific people due to "technical glitches related to the recent hack in"? They are pretty blatant at this point.

    Both my favorites.

Read reports that purport that google, and fb (not too many picts on twitter) can read type in a picture. I got tons of memes but would get snagged right away.
