Why would CA 'elected' officials knowingly collapse the budget?
Who 'elects' CA officials?https://www.foxbusiness.com/politics/...
Money to be made?
[Example]

BIG PHARMA DONATES HOW MUCH TO CA/NY 'ELECTED' OFFICIALS?
COMPARE VS OTHER STATES.
Why are CA & NY VITAL areas of control?
Think Ports.
Think Legal PROTECTION.

Oppression is always about "thee not me". It's always elitist in nature with different rules for the rulers. True freedom and equality are the exact opposite.

A couple of the worlds largest co.s Google and Apple headquartered there, both have mega influence pushing a socialist agenda. New to me
Was Apple has been claiming for decades that it's corporate offices are valued at $1. Essentially they pay lawyers instead of the state real estate tax. I am not saying the taxes are deserved to the county but if you ( Apple )are sooo influential pushing for govt statist collectivist oppression .they should put their money were their mouth is.
Outlasting the county commissioners terms and tying it up in court.
Google on the other hand is developing a strict Chinese communist algorithm for China (?) to restrict ideas and to promote dogma of collectivism and to spy among other goon squad tactics. It should be an act of treason to help China oppress humans.

And good luck on that last one: California gets most of its water from Nevada and Arizona and power from Nevada and Idaho. I'd love to see them disintegrate into nothingness as an example to the rest of the central planners.

But here's a diabolical twist: what if they were to ally themselves with China?

Let them secede. They can then negotiate their own trade agreements, negotiate their own immigration policies, negotiate their own currency exchange rates, negotiate their own water rights contract with the remaining (and, in my opinion, better off) 49 remaining United States.

I think it's funny how people tend to blame things on money. If the government were not involved in the economy, it wouldn't matter if the unit of currency were bitcoin, a gram of gold, a pound of coffee, or a liter of Korbel. The problem isn't the medium of exchange. The problem is interference. Media of exchange are the solution.

"We found the revolutionary formula that puts work in the center of the general re-adjustment of society, based on the production of goods and the value of salary. With that, we're gonna put to rest forever the perverse model that dollarized the prices in the cocountry," tweeted Venezuela's 55-year-old leader

    Thanks https://youtu.be/-crw986KF-0,
Of course you wouldn't expect any creativity from the swamp scum just repeat failed ideas.
    They wrote:
“ The ultimate objective of this strategy—to wipe out poverty by establishing a guaranteed annual income—will be questioned by some. Because the ideal of individual social and economic mobility has deep roots, even activists seem reluctant to call for national programs to eliminate poverty by the outright redistribution of income. ”
Michael Reisch and Janice Andrews wrote that Cloward and Piven "proposed to create a crisis in the current welfare system – by exploiting the gap between welfare law and practice – that would ultimately bring about its collapse and replace it with a system of guaranteed annual income. They hoped to accomplish this end by informing the poor of their rights to welfare assistance, encouraging them to apply for benefits and, in effect, overloading an already overburdened bureaucracy."

    Focus on Democrats
The authors pinned their hopes on creating disruption within the Democratic Party:

"Conservative Republicans are always ready to declaim the evils of public welfare, and they would probably be the first to raise a hue and cry. But deeper and politically more telling conflicts would take place within the Democratic coalition...Whites – both working class ethnic groups and many in the middle class – would be aroused against the ghetto poor, while liberal groups, which until recently have been comforted by the notion that the poor are few... would probably support the movement. Group conflict, spelling political crisis for the local party apparatus, would thus become acute as welfare rolls mounted and the strains on local budgets became more severe.”

Pelosi or Poolosi, that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous poo volleys,
Or to take up arms against a sea of troubles
And by opposing them to make America great again.
    Tee-hee.

100 Browns per Pelosi, aka the POS. One POS usually buys several discarded syringes or a leftist politician.

Every socialist state has fractional reserves although they may not call it that. Just smaller and smaller fractions and larger and larger denominations to follow inflation.
At least the CA congress would be good for something when composted.

Yes, but only a tarnished penny is brown. This one would be mined on the sidewalks and bus terminal hallways of San Francisco, smelted in the underground chambers of Sacramento, coined in the faculty lounges of Berkley, and held as reserves in the newly organized Confuscius Central Bank of California. No need for a fractional reserve system as they can issue notes on an equivalent basis with the crap coming out of Sacramento and San Francisco.
