The universities for the most part are beyond repair. Time for the govt to shut down the funding of these institutions that are indoctrinating students to be against free speech ,the capitalist economy and on and on.....

What the US should do is to do away with this "liberal arts" nonsense. In other countries they don't waste such ridiculous amounts of money and time to train their people. You just go and study the career you want, engineer, biologist, physicist, medical doctor, lawyer, etc, straight after high school. You had enough "liberal arts" formation in high school, no need for liberal brainwash. The US just keeps falling behind more and more to other countries, and depending on foreign highly skilled kids, by burning out its students in huge debts and at least half of four years wasted, and then even more debt for graduate school.

Federal funds to undermine our nation, abiet our enemies and attack its constitution. It could not have happened without the complicity of the RINOS.

Doing away with federal funding and subsidy would do wonders.

The only thing new about this article is that there exists a professor who is not a leftist.

Fantastic! He is right, with Marxist like Ayers in education, and all the socialists, college is too often a waste, or even harmful to students. Defund them! Now they want them not to even acknowledge what gender they are. How can they know history, when liberals professors, thanks to years of work by Ford Fdn. and Cecil Rhoades, have rewritten history until it no long is what it was. It is a gateway to communism for the indoctrinators with tenure. Students are not afught the great pholosophers or reason, which will get them through life, they are taught to rn to a therapy animal or pay dough safe space. Why pay for harm to a child?

I like that idea. Excellent. I can hear the hue and cry from the left now, once the prosecutions start.
    More popcorn needed.

I totally agree. The public institutions of "higher learning" have seemed to become nothing more than indoctrination centers for the dull witted, run by the incompetents.
Not all, but a hell of a lot of 'em.

"Till the shelves run dry of inventory" is the type of retort that we need. A simple straight to the point quip. I would add "like Venezuela."
Otherwise a lengthy explanation of truth is ignored and people go with the nice sounding idea.

Wow, I would like to meet this professor so I can shake his hand. Amazing courage to state such truths. However, I ask you all the below:

Which of the following is easier for a young person to understand (true or not):

Universal Income for all is money given to you so you can support your self and your kids.
    OR
Net Income, or Profit as some call it, is what you get when you balance Expenses which is all of the costs needed to produce something of value against Revenues which is what you receive when you sell what has been produced. Thus, we all have to produce first in order to have any Income to utilize or share or give away.
And we have to produce with Expenses less than Revenues so it is truly Profitable and sustainable in the long run.
Only then can anyone provide food and other things for you and your children.
So, please don't believe in Universal Income because it wont work. Ok?

Hmmm .. great business model. Beauty never goes out of style. Neither does learning a trade and earning a living trading value for value.

I know Hillsdale well. For twenty years my in-laws owned the nearby Hillsdale Beauty College.

The security branches of United States government should place some plain clothes officers posing as students in these cult like universities, document the offenses and then prosecute the offenders. It would take less than a year. Much cheaper and more effective than a major war.

See and hear what this cult is teaching about America from someone who opened his mind to reason and did #walkaway from the radical left.

Yes , Hugh Akston .....AS is now non-fiction. I Can't argue against Florida Tech or PHU but I would add Hillsdale Collage to your list. There is also a very tough school in California but I can't remember the name. I think it is Claremont McKenna college.

The Professor is right of course.
Anti-American subversion is not higher education.
The left leaners should get a mandatory sabbatical
To Venezuela or better yet South Africa.

Or you can recommend sending your progeny toward me at Florida Tech, where he/she will get an education comparable to that at the Patrick Henry University.

It sounds like the DePaul professor is a new Hugh Akston.

Need immediate conversion of all colleges to re-educate every college grad since 1985, and don't let any of them vote until they graduate from the individual responsibility and free market degree program and have signed an oath to defend the original intent of the constitution. Anyone who fails or refuses to sign has no political standing, can't vote or hold any office, but is free to learn about free markets as the original colonists were.

Good idea but it is unworkable. It'll never happen.

It would be more effective to kick out leftist professors. Implement a vetting system for tenured professors like Scotus (after all their effect on the next generations is hurting the country).
