A Quote From Ginni Thomas

The following is a quote from Clarence Thomas' wife, Ginni. She has an interesting point of view that would not have occurred to me that I think should het the teen brains buzzing from a unique perspective.

"To all the kids who who waked out of school to protest guns. These are the shoes of Jews who that gave up their firearms to Hitler. They were led into gas chambers, murdered and buried in mass graves. Pick up a history book and you'll realize what happens when you give up freedom and why we have them."

"Of course the shooter's mental state was known to authorities on all levels and nothing happened to take him into custody. Never forget how Stalin starved Ukrainian farmers and what Mao did in China -- and NRA always says unstable people people should not be allowed to legally buy guns."

Not the best grammar but right from the heart. It's time, I think to explain to the 'teens that there is a difference between the inanimate objects, tools actually, that guns represent, and the demented souls that use them to kill their fellow humans.

Me and the BW were at the library and I notice in the young reader section a book in a series titled "Worlds Great Leaders " Xi Jinping.
I glanced through it and he was compared to Mao. It then explained Mao forced 30,000,000
Young workers out of the cities to work the fields
Resulting in enough food to save the Chinese from starving. Not a negative word about his atrocities.
I asked the librarian what this garbage was doing in the library and she shrugged her shoulders.
The kids and youngsters are being indoctrinated At every level.
See "the Lego movie" that has President Business as the enemy and the common worker the hero. https://nypost.com/2014/02/12/5-secre...
