PILLAR I: Protect the American People, the Homeland, and the American Way of Life
PILLAR II: Promote American Prosperity
PILLAR III: Preserve Peace through Strength
PILLAR IV: Advance American Influence
The Strategy in a Regional Context

Note the order. First is Protect the People, Homeland and way of life of the USA. Second is to ensure American Prosperity, third is Preserve Peace, forth is advance American Influence. The last item is a strategy to accomplish this in the various geopolitical regions of the world.
The Order listed is significant. First and foremost is the protection of the American people, the country and our way of life (read that as freedom for all and equality for all).
Next is to promote prosperity. A concept sorely lacking in previous administrations. Prosperity promotes the first pillar and enables the remainder. No prosperity leads to minimal protection of the American way of life and severely limits the ability to obtain peace and spread American influence. There are some, perhaps many, that think the advance of American influence and the growth of American strength are the major evils of the world today. I beg to differ, but this argument is for another day.
By building American strength we inhibit tothers in the world from exercising aggressive policies towards others and ourselves. The weak are usually tried many times by agressors and bullies. The strong almost never are tried. When they are tried it is usually by someone who underestimates the strength or the resolve to use their strength. Building our strength leads to a more peaceful world.
Building American influence leads to even less turmoil. As our influence is build a word is sufficient to cause pause in an action. If the world knows we mean well and truly live by our values of freedom and equality and Peace then rogue states trouble akes and adventures will be less likely to try us and will more likely moderate their behaviors.
I realize this is a very simplistics statement of a 55+ page document but is written to provide a forum for comment and discussion within the members of the Gulch. I welcome any comments and thoughts on the subject.

Three recent implementations of this strategy have been rejecting the Trans-Pacific Partnership, bowing out of the Paris Climate Accord, and reducing our subsidies to the United Nations (and those countries who recently voted to condemn us for moving our Israeli embassy to Jerusalem). A refreshing reversal of the America Last policies of the last several administrations. Let's hope it continues.

I think the success of much of this is something not mentioned nor truly understood.

It is my position that more can be accomplished, much, much more, by suggestion and empowerment rather than ruling over everyone, regulating everyone and not becoming the "keepers" of everyone.... or even a few.
In short empower everyone to fish.

For those that screw up, we have the right to impose just laws but here, we need to revive our justice system into a "just" system.
