Pocahontas is a racial slur! Pocahontas is a racial slur!
Pocahontas is a racial slur! Pocahontas is a racial slur!
The race card pulling left hopes that if you hear that nonsense enough times, you will begin to believe it.
Remember how the race card was repeatedly pulled during the eight-year regime of socialist Obamanation to make critics shut up and sit down.
So-called journalists hope to make Trump do the same. Fat chance.
Me dino will be away from the PC for a little while.
I'm the wheels for a brother who needs an operation. Bro should be OK.
Oh, look for "Liawantha" about 15 comments down in comments section of the article.
Now me dino has something to add when I write about Pocahontas Liawatha Woo-Woo-Woo-Warren.
Suppose if I put the word "squaw" in front of all that, libs would call that both sexist and racist.
Guess only lib movie stars can say "squaw" in Westerns.

As I understand it they were not code breakers but primarily used their ancient and relatively unknown language as a code the Nazis and Japanese could not fathom. A clever approach at the time. Trump praised them and the obnoxious Big Squaw Running Mouth tried to turn it into something else for her own racist agenda. https://www.galtsgulchonline.com/post...

Me dino could try to pull that Viking bit with my Swedish surname.
Too bad I'm not a dim Dem, since I can't prove it.

Elizabeth Warren brought this on herself by claiming to be descended from the indigenous people of the Americas. The real slur was her false representation to teach certain classes and win an election. The liberals and the press jumped on the statement by President Trump for saying what many of us already thought and knew to be the truth. Next time around she might claim Viking ancestry!

So now Pocahontas is a racial epithet? How is this? Is it a "racial" epithet simply because it was said in front of certain group of people? Or perhaps its just that President Trump has no right to make any truthful analogies regarding a proven unabashed, lying, member in good standing of the Democrat party?

Oh and lets not ignore your "rudeness" in calling anyone agreeing with President Trump "unsophisticated bigots". I guess that's OK.....

Two words,"Alternate Universe," just popped into me dino's head.
Yeah, that's the lib mindset, all right. It has nothing to do with normal.

You remind me of Clint Eastwood making fun of an empty chair during the Obamanation's reelection.
Too bad that did not stop four more years of a corrupt socialist regime.

    Really?
    Are you trying to say:
That you had to go back nearly 40 years to find a clip of Mr. Trump "sounding" presidential?
That it's impossible to find any recent evidence of a somber and professional President Trump?
    Really?

I think, perhaps, you don't want to admit that he's being unfairly characterized by the press in general as well as by individuals like yourself. Because if you did, you'd have to admit he's not a bad President at all.

Hey, when Hillary Clinton can get away with saying that she protects women and listens to them when they cry "Rape!", liberals can get away with anything.

Another Pogo memory: Walt Kelly occasionlly included a frog wearing a top hat--Senator Frog, who would say, "Us [some swamp creature] have to stick together."

I was at an event with Warren a few weeks ago. My wife and I met people there, but on the way back we talked about how supporting politicians is supporting something we don't believe in. We said we should go to non-political events. But if my choice is this nastiness or the stuff I heard from Warren that night, I'd rather have Warren. I guess this nonsense works even on me. I'm more likely to go to a fundraiser again, even for someone I disagree with. I guess my behavior actually explains why acting like a clown works for all of them.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, CG. You disparage President Trump every chance you get. "Click bait/troll president", "child misbehaving", "clown", "train wreck", blah blah blah, etc. etc. etc. over and over and over. Constantly spewing this left wing mantra clap-trap doesn't make any of it true, as much as you wish it all were. Then you say things like: "I'm not into it, and I don't care about his trolling." Uh huh.

Here you say: "His supporters, for reasons I don't understand...". The explanation is quite simple. You told us you are a Democrat and voted for Hillery, which IMHO, clearly indicates there's a LOT you don't understand. Actually, I think you "get" more than you're willing to admit. Stay with it, CG, and you'll keep picking up more and more. I learn new things in the Gulch all the time. You will, too.

I'm sure it's safe to say none of here think President Trump is any kind of god or John Galt, but he's a long way from a President Thompson.

Oh, one last thing regarding the Schumer/Pelosi ducking out ploy. I thought making sure their empty seats remaining at the table with their name tags for the press to take full notice of was hilarious AND brilliant.

CircuitGuy, please read their bible. Saul Alinsky, rules for radicals. Label your enemy to make them undefendable, accuse your enemy of what you have done, so it weakens their attack to "You too".

Try looking up border crossings in a SERIOUS way. Obama relabelled TURNBACKS (people stopped at the border and turned back) as deportations. So he could claim the highest deportation #s while letting more people in. At one point, our government was publishing the areas of the "wall/fence" that would NOT be under surveillance, allowing them to walk right in.

But a wall should be FINANCIAL as well. You get caught here illegally, we find out how long you have been here, calculate what it cost you to live. And make sure we EXTRACT the taxes you owe, plus penalties, etc before we deport you! If you strip a few Illegals of ALL of the money they made here, and JAIL them for not paying taxes, send their family members back. BELIEVE ME, you will slow down the rate that they come over.

The problem with Surveillance is that the next president, like Obama, will just turn it off. Simply change the parameters, and let it be known. People will start crossing in massive numbers. We offer FREE THINGS with no fear of punishment for coming over and taking them.

Is there a longer article that describes what this means?

The wall thing always seemed like a metaphor. We had been building fencing for years with new sensors. People coming in illegally had been falling. So I always took his "big beautiful wall" as a metaphor for getting serious about enforcing the immigration laws after decades of looking the other way.

    ""Progressive Tagging/Labeling""
I don't know what this means. It sounds like he's just being a pure jackass. If there really is some complex method to the madness, I'd be interested. If it's just that you have to listen real carefully and it turns into the D'anconia speech, I'll probably never get it.

The media purposely ignore his more sober pronouncements, because they don't feed the image the media all seem to want to promote. Acting absurd seems to work in getting attention, so as a pragmatist, Trump deliberately throws out zingers when he wants the cameras to focus on him to give him a brief opportunity to say something serious. Sad that he feels type cast, but so long as the reality star role still grabs attention, don't expect to see him change anytime soon.
