Heinlein holds that survival of the species, perhaps life itself, is the highest morality.

    I thought I recognized the speech. Heinlein is probably my most favorite author. His writing manner is almost unmistakable. Once you have read him enough, he is on par with AR. If you decide to Galt, don't forget the lesson of "Farnham's Freehold". If you seek a saner form of government, take to heart the lessons of "Starship Troopers" and "The Moon is A Harsh Mistress".
