The Empty Barrel

She wears a stylized cowboy hat. It makes her look cute. So long as she never opens her mouth, Congresswoman Frederica Wilson is probably dumber than a box of rocks.Whenever she fails to understand something, she falls back on that good old reliable backstop, "IT Must Be Racist." This woman, whose understanding of the English language is at best nominal, cann ot parse a sentence in that language. So, it is no surprise to find out that the phrase used by a deeply offended John Kelly was an "Empty Barrel. It is a description that goes back many years, to beyond the ancient Romans. It is not and never was a racist description. It is reminiscent of the hoo-ha over the word "niggardly" which has nothing to do with race. This woman has the intelligence of a soapdish. and so long as she doesn't understand English, she should keep her mouth shut, rather than using a description she doesn't understand.General Kelly was particularly offended by the way she caused an unneeded friction incident over her ignorance. According to Kelly, let's "Keep death sacred." I agree. No more Oral Podiatry which is the art of opening one's mouth and putting one's foot firmly into it.

The political grandstanding of these ambitious idiots is extremely disrespectful of the fallen soldier. The soldier was likely hindered by the same Reps.(sic) to protect himself to the fullest.
These military excursions enrich the pols and the
Deep state while leaving death grief misery and suffering in their wake.

"That's a racist term," Wilson told CNN on Friday morning. "We looked it up in the dictionary because I had never heard of an empty barrel. And I don't like to be dragged into something like that."

We looked it up, too. It's not, and there's even an entire article about the phrase's etymology.

But when did facts ever stop Rep. Maxine Waters, who's been playing the race card her whole career (and she's been on the public payroll for 26 years)?

My understanding of the phrase "an empty barrel makes the most noise" is that it refers to a wooden barrel being rolled over the floor (or the ground). A barrel full of water, oil, etc., makes less noise than if the barrel is empty. It sounds like General Kelly's description is therefore accurate: the empty-headed moron Freak-a-Rica Wilson did make a lot of meaningless noise out of her own ignorance.

And if she were the only one, we could probably deal with it. The problem is that she is only the tip of the iceberg (now there's the next racist phrase to be so claimed due to ice's whiteness). You can add to this list the Democratic Representative who was afraid Guam would tip over if we expanded the base there. The height and width and depth of willful ignorance in our representative leadership is shocking, but no more shocking than the gross ignorance which permeates our society.

Absolutely my favorite dumbass leftist statement. Spoken as thought it were fact, of course, by Rep. Johnson. Still cracks me up everytime I think of that instance.

The real problem isn't the government elected officials that are dumber than a box of rocks (no offense to the rocks that I know are way smarter), but instead those people who keep voting these imbeciles into power. These EOs are a good litmus test for those they represent. Which can only mean the devolution of humans has begun. Welcome to the age of the troglodyte.

To bad there isn’t an IQ requirement for elected government officials plus a requirement to to possess “common sense”. There are some officials that could pour pea out of a boot if printed instructions were posted on the sole.
