It never ceases to amaze me how those in our past oft times are so much wiser than many of those today.

If gov't decides what food and medicine we take, we are under tyranny.

I just saw Ben Carson on Varney and Company. He quoted Lenin as saying 'the linchpin of socialism is controlling health care.'

Here's the exact quote; Vladimir Lenin: "Socialized Medicine is the Keystone to the Arch of the Socialist State."

I heard most of Ben Carson today. He is very impressive, and a great advocate for our freedoms.

Did you know that Hannity goes off the radio waves in January?

Sorry for this but...good riddenance. If the Republican party told everyone they had to shoot themselves for freedom, he would do it on FN. I lost any respect for him years ago. One thing about Savage, he has been around a looong time, and I cannot recall him caring what party it was, if it was stupid, or affected your freedom, he called them out. Some other times he was a little looney (like talking about his dogs and food) but he has always been a pretty straight arrow. Hannity has been a republican "my way is the only way" type.

You sir, are a great American. (sorry). Many progressives Judge on how someone makes them feel, thinking comes later (if ever). Hannity makes them feel bad, so he’s bad. I understand where he’s coming from but I don’t defend him in debates with progressives.

            Pretty accurate.

My 'beef' with Hannity was his interviewing style...he would talk over his guest, and never allow them to finish a thought.

Plus: he would comprise a montage of quotes, and play the montage for the entire three hours. He would even interrupt his interviews to play the montage.

Hannity's show with Alan Colmes (?) was fun to watch, while it was on.

Savage's stories about his dog are a 'hoot'...and his restaurant observations are just as good. I find them to be a nice 'break' from the tension of the daily news.

Yes...more than once I've yelled , while driving, "ugh..let him finish what he was saying! I wanted to hear it!"

Yes, I used to listen to Savage nation up at Bangor Submarine Base, where I was stationed. He was a great alternative to Rush's rants, or the 43 liberal "give us everything now" stations. It was just he would drift off topic for 20 mins and then zoom back, and if you missed it, you were left wondering what we were talking about in the beginning. But I love the fact he is actually very smart, and real.
