No candidate tells the people that he wants power over them, so he tells them he wants to help them, instead.
2. Don't knock the rich - when did the poor ever give you a job?
3. Children grow up quickly these days - many teens are already confused, discouraged and broke.
4.Balancing the budget: They said it couldn't be done. I'll go along with that.
5. I love little children, but I can't stand the younger generation.
6. Politicians try to tell us what they think we want to hear when they should be telling us the truth.
7. TRUTH: The public gets what it wants, but with the truth, it gets what it gets.
8. Miracles and the law of causality: Two tiny demichromosomed pre-protozoan flecks of amino acids unite to develop into the awesome complexity of a human being.
9. The trouble with good advice it that it always interferes with our plans.

I am one year older than you. I didn't think there was anyone approaching my age in the Gulch. That's what the 7734 is. It is my birth date.

    Hello, again,
Well, it is my understanding that there are many in vitro fertilizations, i.e. no bedroom and no sex. (I cannot imagine why would one wish to exclude the main fun part of the reproduction process.) But, I have never heard of a baby born after sitting and waiting, "in vitro", for nine months.
Your claim of age: I am 82 (certified) and how many have you survived, if you please?
Stay well, at least for a while.

OK, but I was trying for a more basic description. Yours is more of they were able to create a human because they had a bedroom in a house in order to have sexual intercourse. See the difference? It's true they need a womb of their own, but I wanted to be more primal. And besides, it gave me an opportunity to use those big tongue twister words. I'm as well as an ancient human can be considering age and no exercise. But, thank you for the good wishes, and the same to you.

    Hello Herb7734,
    On your no. 8.
The two united flecks succeed in their miraculous endeavor only because of an incredibly nurturing support of a human womb.
    Stay well.

I can balance the budget. Follow the Constitution and cut the waste and redundancy. ttps://www.facebook.com/groups/1603381846580... . Life begins at conceptions. If someone wants to end their gene pool that murder will be between them and God. Besides do YOU want to pay $220,000 over 18 years to raise a child that is NOT YOURS?

Wasn't it FDR that said, "If anything happens in politics, you can bet it was planned" ??? or something to that effect

I knew a person with a twisted mind. At one time he was very close to me, but he turned out to be a very Machevelian ( never knew how to spell that word) person who could take a bad situation and make it worse with convoluted brilliance. A friend of mine, who worked for him, tried to warn me, but I didn't want to believe it. The friend finally ran off with his secretary after having sex with her on the guy's office desk. He bragged about it until the day he died. And the girl he ran off with stayed with him to the end.

A career in politics is one of those jobs that should never be given to the person that wants it.

The price of real estate in San Diego is about 3X that of Florida. It took us 3 years to sell the condo that was 800 sq. feet smaller than the house in Florida, but cost twice as much. We sweated it out for 3 years using our retirement job salaries to pay the mortgage + savings. Everything is paid up now o we're fortunate in that way, hopefully our funds will last us until we assume room temperature.

I favor the latter, also. Actually, it's the act of integrating which not only connects dots but sometimes connects in creative ways creating an A HA! moment for someone. We call it a: "Metaphor"; the likes of which, consciousness soars.

You could of bought your house in 92 during the clintonian period but to your dismay, like many at that time, found you owed your soul to that company of stores...(increasing interest rates and derivatives.)

I just realized that based on my previous sentence, you might not know whether I bought my house in '92 or sold my soul in '92. In any case, if it were a movie script, I sure would like Bill Clinton to play Satan. He and his wife are the king and queen of the grifters. And to think they were once President and secretary of state. Just think of a horror film with those two starring. They'd need several ambulances standing by.

Funny how my mind wanders -- probably a sign of encroaching dementia, or elder clarity. I favor the latter.

But at least you don't owe your soul to the company store .Mine was bought in '92, so I guess I shouldn't complain too much.

Glad to hear, you got it good.
16/17 everything that was bought new for the new house, (97)...failed and none of that stuff was cheap and the new stuff will not last as long...still paying on the new washer and dryer.
Last week my garage door opener stopped working and I could not fix it myself. I think the plastic guides on the bar are worn. Laughing, my luck, I'll be told that they no longer make the parts. It's only 20 years old!!!
I put a handle on the outside and a rope on the inside and do it the old fashion way. Good Exercise

Another year older and deeper in debt.

My grand parents went to his inauguration
In Washington DC from St Paul.
My guess is that the papers or the radio news
Only had positive to say about FDR. It was much more difficult to detect the scum politicians
    And the looting socialists.

At this point in my life, I never had it so good, but like yourself..."The best laid plans of mice and men....." The dishwasher broke down, the fridge needed the ice maker fixed, the oven stopped working, the 12 year old mini van needed $1,300 worth of work. '17 was a banner year for repairs.

Old Franklin D. was a real piece of work. But the Jewish neighborhood all loved him. When he died, you'd have thought that a dear member of the family had taken the big sleep.I, of course, agreed with "everyone" but eventually learned to rely on my own thinking as I sought the truth.

    A) There is always a sale on something I need and use, when I'm Broke!

    B) It never fails, when I'm being fiscally conservative and putting money aside for a project...something breaks and needs fixing.

#8...next you'll be offering to sell me the Brooklyn Bridge.
#9...most times,No advice, is the best advice of all...go with your gut...you have a 50% chance of being right.

Roosevelt’s views about the Japanese dovetail with his privately expressed opinions about Jews. In my own recent research in the diaries and correspondence of Roosevelt Cabinet members and others close to FDR, I have found a number of troubling remarks by the president in this vein. For example, he complained about Jews “overcrowding” certain professions in Germany, North Africa, and even in Oregon. He was one of the initiators of a quota on the admission of Jews to Harvard. He boasted to one friend—a U.S. senator—that “we have no Jewish blood in our veins.” He claimed antisemitism in Poland was a reaction to Jews dominating the local economy. And he embraced an adviser’s proposal to “spread the Jews thin” around the world, in order to prevent them from dominating their host countries. Typical democratic leader. From

I have an Israeli friend that was outraged when I told him that FDR knew of the planned attack as early as January, but wanted us into the war so we could help England and his chum Churchill.

We must be patient (my greatest failing) and teach them the real history to replace the propaganda.
I remember when I was about 13 my grandfather telling me about the uproar when it was uncovered that FDR knew about the Pearl Harbor attack before it happened and that he did nothing. I had never heard about that from my history classes and I thought "Has Grandad lost his mind?" Years later (after he was gone) I realized he was telling the truth.
We have to be persistent and provide the detailed proof in order to overcome the brainwashing.
