I'd pay to see this. I really hope this has live coverage, and gets more than the bikers rally.

    Same here.

Truckers are the 'salt of the earth', and have more common sense in their third gear than all of this administration put together.

EPA rules are designed to put them out of business as independents, and for no scientific reason. Picture the cost of living when we lose the backbone of our delivery system....

Nobody that I can envision embodies the individuality, and love of freedom, than does the independent over the road truckers.

Maphesdus, that comment would go over better with an English accent, if you can do either a 1770's one or a 1940's one.

Declaring independence from England was illegal. Civil disobedience (e.g. sit-ins) is illegal. Would these illegal activities be more palatable if the truckers got a permit?

"It's almost certain that anyone attempting to 'arrest' a member of Congress would be arrested themselves for attempted kidnapping."

I laughed at that part, because it's true. :)

Also, the part about a so-called "Grand Jury" sounds more like a lynch mob, rather than a legitimate government action.

I can understand these people's frustration, but committing illegal activities is not a permissible form of protest.

Love it! My only suggestion is that the truckers adhere to the minimum speed limit, if any. No reason to go as fast as 55. These politicians need to see some natural consequences; perhaps not being able to order a glass of grapefruit juice because none made it through.
