PLAN B

Plan A is for me to be extra productive, for me to consistently think of ways to improve things so we can work smarter not harder, and for me to voluntarily choose how best to spend and invest what I earn within society.

If that can't work out there is always plan B.

Plan A should define "society" so you don't go to Plan B by default

Society is just a bunch of people who have to live with and deal with one another. How they all do that determines what kind of society it is.

I understand you not being a hermit, but the first part of your statement may be impossible to achieve in certain societies. That was my point. I had half decided that you wrote this as a cynical nod to Behner yesterday.

Personally I was thinking that the first part of Plan A is easy to achieve and/or maintain. It is that last part, which requires a more moral live and let live society, that is difficult.

It is very hard to be productive in a non-free society. and those who succeed in non free societies are most often politically connected, not productive. In Atlas Shrugged, Galt left society to live a happy and moral life. HIs success came once he left. Hank and Dagney were failing in society, they just didn't know it. Everything they truly cared about was collapsing in on them. A plan means action, moving forward. I am asking you to question the second part of your plan , because it reads like an Absolute to the first part. Will you always be struggling to fit a square peg in a round hole?
