Why Eating Healthy is so Damn Hard (and Arguably Pointless)

You have to watch the video...I could of put this into the humor category but there is a lot of truth to the humor in the video.

Yes, it's sad to admit, but science also...is subject to being a kakistocracy also, especially when it suits the kakistocracy.

This is why, for a long time now, I stopped listening to the lamestream anything...I do my own research and try as I might, employ my BS detector.
Even so, there are still a lot of unanswered questions...the "Science" is clearly unsettled and might never be conclusive...it will, hopefully, evolve before the fun of living is completely gone.

Thanks so much for the detailed information! We are coffee lovers in our house, and I can't wait to try this!

Me too...at 65!, although, I don't get the exercise I used to because I have to work so much. The only exercise I get is working around the house which I rarely have time for, lot's of quick walking though...that's gota change.

Staying away from the doctor each day, keeps the doctor away!

I work in the medical industry. Modern medicine is there, really, just to milk you for money (via medicare, your own out-of-pocket, etc). It's a joke, anymore. Most people think it's all there because they care about us. Haha...

You want to talk about blowing up convention, Old Ugly? Since I stopped taking vaccines and any prescription meds I've been so healthy that my doctors get mad at me. Hardly a sniffle in 17 years now. They only see me when I start to wear out a joint due to too much fun activity. How many 50 year olds can bench press their body weight 10+ times, run 5 miles, have low blood pressure and still have all working parts (wink, wink)? It's preposterous, I tell you... I must be stopped!

It's not difficult. You can do it with your oven, but when the beans start to smoke you may not enjoy the aroma... or you may. The easiest and inexpensive way to get started is to get a hot air popcorn machine. I bought one from walmart.com and had it delivered to the local store. There are a lot of articles online about which machines are best for this. Sweet Marias is a decent source for info and they sell the same one I got from Walmart:
    https://www.sweetmarias.com/product/n...
Here is an article discussing home roasting:
    https://www.sweetmarias.com/air-poppe...

My popper takes about 7-10 minutes for about 55gm of green beans, and I do it outside so the hulls that break off the beans become compost for the yard, and the aroma does not linger in the house. I roast only enough to last about a week, so I have reasonably freshly roasted beans, and I only grind enough for the coffee I am making at the time. It makes a big difference in the flavor, as scojohnson noted.
Happy Mug usually gives their recommendations on how dark to roast in the description of each coffee they sell.

I got a brown recluse spider bite at Disney
world hotel 12 years ago...once diagnosed back in West Palm Beach, I was sent to professional doc who had been treating spider bites for over 50 years...he told me it would abscess for over a month and would open up again in the future...I treated it myself with 3 different essential oils...closed it up in two weeks and it has never open up again since...he was clueless....sad

LOL! Sounds like "almost" 4 to me. If it's good enough for you, then it's good enough for me. BTW,
I'd rather have an ice cream cone.
