Reporter who exploded at Sarah Huckabee Sanders during White House briefing: ‘We can’t take the bullying anymore’

The media has now entered "Snowflake" territory. It's ok to lie, make up stuff and treat the President as trash, but if you expect them to be honest and factual, well, "Oh MY" it's time to get cranky and cry. They have a dumb a@@ attitude to blow off their own inaccuracies, and say, "you can turn us off, or change channels". BS. Huckabee handled them a lot better than Spicer does.

Me dino gets a kick out of Trump trashing his trashers.
I'm age 70 beyond sick and tired of watching GOP presidents becoming supposedly noble unresponsive whipping boys for a lying left wing yet mainstream media.
Being above all the BS doesn't really work out well when people view silence as an admission.
As I've written here before, I knew Trump was a fallible bull in a china shop when I voted for him.
Wreck 'em, Trump! Wreck those lying crybaby cowards!
Kick 'em when they're up--kick 'em when they're down. Rub their own dirty laundry right back into their smug faces.

      +1 Dino! I agree 100%

Trump's detractors spin his responses as adolescent and I almost got sucked into the spin and agreed with them. Now I disagree with that assessment because, in actuality, he is a fighter the public voted into the ring to stand up to those self righteous rats and that is exactly what he is doing. Sometimes to drain the swamp and rid the sewer rats you have to put on your high boots and wade into it. As you say: "Wreck 'em, Trump! Wreck those lying crybaby cowards!"

Maybe the White House could provide one of those safe spaces for the press to go to when they are feeling bullied. When the press yells "bully" it just means that they want to shut up anyone who talks back or disagrees with them.

Exactly, and maybe they do have a "safe space" already for the little weenies. I just could not believe they could whine about being mistreated when they have done nothing but pass rumor and unchecked facts as truth, and caused numerous issues for people, who are just trying to do THEIR jobs. In fact, the Flynn thing turns out to have another page, which may alter a lot of what was reported, he stood up to the FBI for a Military Intelligence officer who they were trying to hammer, and told them he would testify on her behalf. Hmmm...

The press are still trying to sell the lie that Trump is the first president who kicked reporters out of the White House for putting the president or his family in an unfavorable light. But every Democratic president since at least FDR has done this, too.

FDR's big no-no was his wheelchair. He went around in one all the time because he suffered from polio. But very few news photos of him show the wheelchair, because if you took one that did, you were out.

The FDR thing is now commonly portrayed in movies and docu dramas. One WW2 docu detailed how they did disguise it, he used leg braces when he had to give speeches and went on ships to meet Churchill. It caused him a lot of pain and such. His personal life had a lot of secrets too, that were also covered up. Every important (I do not use the term hero) person has their flaws, and never seem able to deal with them, Kennedy had numerous mistresses, Eisenhower was supposedly such a golf nut he spent his time on that, when the establishment basically sidelined him, and he got small revenge in his last speech.

      Next to the gender-choice bathrooms.

Anyone else get these creepy questions from your Android phone asking if the restaurant I'm sitting in offers "gender neutral restrooms" ? Hmm, I didn't look, and I don't give a rip, use the one that matches the equipment you came with. The chick looking like a guy thing is going to struggle with a urinal.

Freedom without responsibility is freedom corrupted.

A large swath of the American media has been so totally irresponsible in their use of the First Amendment that it has corrupted itself to the point where it has become a danger to the Republic. I have watched this rot of corruption seep into the media for decades and I say it's about time we got leadership with enough backbone to stand up to it.

This media's use of the First Amendment as a means to protect itself from criticism is in itself a corruption as the Constitution is not a suicide pact. A responsible media is a protector of the Republic, an irresponsible and corrupt media is a destroyer.

Well said. All rights come with responsible use clauses. As you point out, the media has recklessly and wantonly abandoned the responsible use of their Freedom of Speech!

Agreed, the media is an instrument to make sure of government accountability by widely disseminating bad behavior and corruption. It is not a political arm of a specific party or ideology, and has become such, nullifying it's claim to the 1st amendment.

I should add, it is also a business and as such, has every right to do or say as it wishes, but not to falsely advertise it is truth or factual, and as such can be "taken to the bank".

I can't even stomach broadcast news anymore, the likes of Katie Couric or Scott Pelle make me nauseous while they think the planet is agreeing with them. They really thought The Obama was the start of a 1000 years of peace out of Revelations or something.

This guy isn't a snowflake. He doesn't exist long enough to be one. He's more like one of those sub-atomic particles that only exists in nanoseconds. Neither spokesperson for the administration meets the definition of a bully, no matter how you twist and tork it in order to make it do so. He's not a journalist. He's not even an adult.

What a dumb hypocrite that guy. He needs a donkey whisperer to treat his hurt feelings.
Journalism has improved and gone from taking notes, to audio recording to word processing. Yet the reporter journalist quality has deteriorated as technology improved.

My wife is a bit of a lefty unfortunately, I was just pointing out last night that I get pretty bitchy when I get sick of someone's bullshit. Trump has put up with the Russia garbage and every excuse for his victory, except acknowledgment that people voted for him.

Part of me wants to tell the guy to turn off the TV and focus on his job, nothing out of a talking head will help his job performance. The other part would be to hire a tactful tweet advisor - keep hitting, but raise the standard and be somewhat enigmatic.

It does have a good effect though, the dummies in the MSM chase his morning tweet all day while he shreds Obama regulations and signs new legislation.

The media's behavior is a prime example of what happens when people from age 1 on up are allowed to get away with bad behavior. If the republicans hadn't been so afraid of being the grown-ups they are supposed to be over the last, sheesh, I don't know how many decades, the democrats would not feel so entitled to continue on with their childish behavior.

There's finally a semi-grownup with the needed courage in the White House and the babies can't handle it! I say, get out the popcorn. It's going to be a very entertaining 4 to 8 years!

Thanks for that. This is the first time I have ever heard Trump being described as a semi- grownup. I would love to hear the things about Trump that you feel are grownup. Was it his implication on TV that he has a large penis? Or his petulant Twitter attacks or his incoherent ramblings on every topic? I bet it is the massive lying, since that is always a sign of adulthood.

Trump is a complete embarrassment and a huge anvil on the Republican Party. They need to get rid of him as well as dumping the religious nonsense that has infiltrated their party over the decades and work on a coherent platform with proper Objectivist principles in order to succeed. Remember though that Ayn Rand hated the Republicans even more that the Democrats so I don't hold out much hope they will ever come to their senses. A shame.

Gosh, "implication", "petulant", "incoherent ramblings", "massive lying", "complete embarrassment", "huge anvil", and not a single example or worthy citation given. Nice op-ed piece for NYT, WPO, or CNN to stir up the emotions of the masses, but I wouldn't call it a fine example of "Objectivist principles", which you would have us all believe you are purveying. LOL!

It's the first time, huh? Well, you really need to widen your exposure to other sites that aren't so very concerned about "style" and are more into what's underneath AND results.

LOL, sure condemn a man for his "style" and words while completely ignoring his efforts. That's okay. Most people who voted for him overlooked his carnival barker-ness and saw a successful AMERICAN businessman (as opposed to an ANTI-AMERICAN fake quasi-academic) who had some really interesting things to say and also had some really good and interesting people back him from the beginning. The fact that he's rolled back most of "O's" illegal executive orders, and is cutting out regulations root and branch as much as he can by himself, is enough to send the stock market and the mood of most Americans soaring.

I think if you TRY to be OBJECTIVE (you know, stop listening to the CRAZY Democrat noise) about Trump, (and LOOK A LITTLE DEEPER than his sometimes off-putting WORDS and HOW he SAYS them) you might see someone who is VERY Apolitical and just wants to do what he sees as common sense. That is something we have not seen in a very LONG time. COMMON SENSE GOVERNANCE. Of course, it would take an outsider to bring it.

I hate to inform you but religious philosophy has been part of the foundation of this country and part of the Republican party since its inception. Yeah, it's a LOT of NONSENSE, isn't it? You don't like it, that's fine, no one ever said you had to be a "believer" in America's foundational religious philosophies. However, maybe what you ought to start worrying about is the one that is today most being apologized for while it compels others to think it's okay to "cut at the neck". I think that one is more worth worrying about instead of the "turn your cheek" religion! Not to mention the other religion's accompanying Sharia legal component! But, it's a bit more scary standing up to people who will kill you as opposed to people who will forgive you, isn't it?

"Successful AMERICAN businessman". Hilarious. Probably the only businessman to lose money at a casino. Bankrupt numerous times. Famous for stiffing the common-man wih every contract he signs. I am always in awe of people who are so blind to his numerous failings.

Again, this man is a buffoon. The Republican Party could have done so much better if they had voted in Cruz, even though is a religious nutjob. Instead they electred the petulant man-child that is Trump.

Oh, and your last paragraph? I honestly have no idea what you are talking about.

LOL! "Oh, and your last paragraph? I honestly have no idea what you are talking about."

            Why am I NOT surprised?

Uh, before he handed the torch to his sons, Trump was listed as a trustee, president, chairman, or member for more than 530 entities. That's 530 BUSINESSES for people who just don't understand. How many times did he file for bankruptcy? That would be SIX times. You DO know that bankruptcy is a legal process when your financials whether personal or business become untenable, right? I think SIX out of 530 different business concerns is a PRETTY DARN GOOD record. And, if you think he's the only casino owner to lose money, well....You're kidding, right? http://money.cnn.com/2016/01/08/news/...

Even with Daddy's loans, massive inheritance and all the business connections from Daddy, he still has been, at best, a mediocre businessman.

I would put up the most recent list of his lies but it would cover the entire page.

America needs someone badly in government who understand the principles of what needs to be done, but Trump sure ain't it. His cronies he has chosen for various government officials sure are not the ones either. The closest Objectivist is Rand Paul but even he can't escape the religious baggage. Perhaps his father? To be honest, I don't know too much about Ron Paul. America has dug itself into a large hole and I fear with Trump running wild (I am still waiting for the report he promised from his agents in Hawaii concerning Obama's Birth Certificate), the Democrats will nominate someone younger and even more charismatic than Sanders who will shift the US even more leftward than it already is.

I don't think the New York Times (which is where your "list" came from) would be a good place to go to find factual, UNBIASED information.

The article you used still only discussed 61 out of 530 business concerns, too. WHO, in this world, is PERFECT in any case? He's STILL a billionaire! Daddy gave him a million. Turning that into BILLIONS is a pretty good record when you consider MOST lottery winners FRITTER away their winnings! And, sometimes it's more than ONE million dollars.

Everything you argue really is moot anyway. So, maybe you ought to look at why you continue to be so negative? Pessimism is a BIG trait in people who like to call anything religious "baggage" rather than being open and tolerant about it. Maybe you should look into the reasons you continue to try project your negative feelings onto others, hmmm???

So you are a believer that any news that is against Trump is "Fake News"? It is a quite convenient belief that anything you disagree with is automatically fake. Is he a billionaire? Nobody knows since he still refuses to disclose his tax returns, even though he promised he would. I know you have probably heard how if he had stuck daddy's money into a standard index fund back in the early 80's he would be worth much more than he supposedly is today but I imagine that is "fake news" as well since it is negative against Trump. His inheritance is estimated to be between 40-200 million so it is a bit more than one million.

I am going to quote Rand to show my negativity and pessimism about religion.

"Qua religion, no - in the sense of blind belief, belief unsupported by, or contrary to, the facts of reality and the conclusions of reason. Faith, as such, is extremely detrimental to human life: it is the negation of reason."

"Faith is the worst curse of mankind, as the exact antithesis and enemy of thought....To rest one's case on faith means to concede that reason is on the side of one's enemies- that one has no rational arguments to offer."

Rand would be dismayed at the rise of the religious right in America and how they have corrupted her ideals.

I am pessimistic that Trump is the best America could come up with.

Tom, the issue is 95% of the news is negative against Trump. Even when it isn't negative to start with, it get spunt that way. I see articles all the time that could sya something neutral to report the issue, but is usually in a snide, negative framework. It does not take a degree in journalism to notice that.

Heres one that is a neutral headline, but the body twists negative (for the most part):

                    https://www.yahoo.com/tv/donald-trump...

                    Heres a negative one:

                    http://www.msnbc.com/am-joy/watch/tru...

Concerns? From whom? And who are they to have "concerns"? Of course people have concerns, across the board, Trump is unusual, acidic, at times immature. Kennedy was a womanizer who had numerous flings in the white house. No one ever reported on that, it was moved to the "trash papers".

Here is another negative one, not in the subject, but in the wording:

                    https://www.popsugar.com/news/Donald-...

It isn't hard to find in a 5 minute look for 90% negative articles, either in their wording, subject or the spin.

Boy, you "Negative-Nellies" always make that leap! So if I tell you a news outlet is NOT credible THAT MUST MEAN that I think ALL news outlets who report on Trump are not credible IF they report something negative on Trump? REALLY?

Look, you're welcome to cite ANY news organization you wish (Which you didn't. I just KNEW where to look). Just be prepared for blow-back if you use sources KNOWN to be more left-(or right, for that matter)wing OPINION rather than hard news, okay?

Trump got an INITIAL loan of 1 million from Daddy. There may have been more, that's true. Given the high finance they were dealing with, it's not shocking if Daddy might have been involved later on. PLUS DADDY DIED. And, he LEFT his children his ESTATE!!! Gee whiz!!! How unusual!!!!! LYNCH HIM!!!! TRUMP's NO business man!!!!! He DESERVES IMPEACHMENT FOR THAT!!!!! Right???? Well?? Right?? LOL!

REALITY CHECK - Dad's estate was estimated at 250 to 300 million. Taxes, I'm sure, took a BIG chunk. AND, he had 4 other siblings but one brother died. So, HOW IN THE WORLD does that translate to being GIVEN his WEALTH when it is estimated at being almost 4 BILLION????? STUPID DUMB luck, huh? Yeah, right.

And, by the way, we ALL like Ayn Rand and her writings here, ya know? HOWEVER, that does NOT mean she was perfect and had ALL PERFECT ideas that there couldn't be some other very valid opinions. There are many opinions on that score at this site alone. Nor does it mean that YOU or I cannot be TOLERANT of OTHER ideas. Especially ones that do NO HARM.....you know, from the part you didn't understand above...."turn the other cheek" rather than "cut at the neck"?

Trump may NOT be the best America could do. But, he was the best of the people who RAN and WHO WON!!!! Get over it, get a life, and smile! It's REALLY going to be much better than the last EIGHT years.

I'm quite enjoying his pugnaciousness. It's very entertaining. Not to mention something quite needed from the cowardly and complicit "RIGHT" for a very long time.

Both parties could not exist with an Objectivist principle set, as it is contrary to their very need for a corrupt, paid for performance. They also represent political manipulation and group think. Trump's greatest asset is he is echoing what most peopel are concerned about, and seemed really wanting to fix the really bad things that exist, until he got elected and Ryan told him what was really going to happen. If there is anyone to be labeling a complete embaressment and anvil, it is the entire leadership of the GOP in the House and Senate, who's only concern has been to manipulate the situation to whatever their patrons want (hint: the people, (we), are NOT their patrons). Trump alone can do very little.

I think the clown thought he was going to intimidate Sanders because she was a female. News organizations are a sewer pit of sexual harassment, so I think her cool, professional response took him by surprise.

Ask Karem if any of the corrections are on the first page where they make the mistake. Ask the who they voted for since they are so transparent. Agendas are supposed to be checked at the door when a reporter comes into the room, a 5th grader can see that they are biased. I hope Trump keeps it up, they need to be scolded like the snowflakes that they are. What has he got to lose, they won't report the news truthfully anyway.

It's so overwhelming anymore. Everything they do they turn around 180 degrees (3200 mils), and blame it on someone else, or someone else caused them to do it, usually the other side. Look where that got us with so many things today. Today so many movements are based on pure lies and misconceptions, or hidden facts. Women's rights, what do they want? Black Lives Matter, what t do they want? As far as, "You can turn us (the media) off" goes, there are just too many ignorant people out there that just can't ignore the liars, the half truther's, and the nonsensical rhetoric's. The media that can't prove the truth needs to get a new label, or perhaps real "News" needs the new label. It's like marriage, why not a new label for same sex marriages. How can we differentiate, or is differentiating the real issue? Ms. and Miss are titles that may both be used to indicate that a woman is unmarried. I see Ms. as meaing none of your business. Mrs. Is used to indicate that a woman is married (or has been married since she may be a widow or divorced). What about men, how do we differentiate? Perhaps new definitions for same sex women unions might give them new pride. I know "Veteran" (military implied) still gives me pride even though the media had the public (erroneously)hating me at one time. What they said about me was completely untrue. I'd hate for "veteran" to be taken over by some other kind of action group, someone that doesn't represent the values I associate with being one. It would only be "fair" to leave it alone as it is. I include fire and police when I use the terms "military" or "veteran". Have we gone completely insane in America? Can only half the population even question what we are being told, and led to believe? Why do we need so much change, political correctness, it wasn't an issue way back when? Sorry, it's getting to me, gonna go fishin'.

The BLM movement is kind of funny in a way, they keep looking for an innocent snowflake to be the poster child, and then look silly when the 30 previous arrests on the rap sheet come out.

Castile was no stranger to a set of handcuffs (last one in St Anthony, MN), 86 traffic stops since 2001, 43 arrests, 23 convictions, tox screen was off the charts the day he died.

Pay no attention and don't report the details, it's just random innocent snowflakes that were minding their own business...

They have an image they are trying to portray, the facts are usually different though. The assassin in Dallas that ambushed all the police was over Castile.. The tragedy there was the dumb sheriff that approved his permit to carry with an average contact with law enforcement every 8 weeks or so.

Well the mayor of Arden Hills is asking the Minnesota Stae Fair grounds who own the property to put up a permanent memorial to Castile.

"Here lies a fool... got loaded up on meth, cruising around with no brake lights and a kid in the backseat with a handgun under the thigh while driving... Gets stopped by the police and instead of saying 'I have a permit to carry, and I have my firearm on my person'"... instead... he says "I think I should tell you, I have a gun" and then reaches for it...

You are voicing some of the fundamental issues causing a lot of the anger and frustration Trump is representing. None of which the major Parties (both sides of it) care about, or will engage in, as it is below their station in life. Fishing is probably a good choice. Going Gault is better, but more problematic until we have a Gault to support it.
