Scrolling back through the Philosophy category, I came across a topic that I started almost four years ago:

What prompted the journey down memory lane was the recent discussion about Hollywood actors being "meat puppets." I grant that their work consists of memorization, not analysis. However, memory is the root of knowledge. If you cannot remember your percepts and concepts, then you have no mind.
The quizzes about Objectivism are all literal out-takes from the works of Ayn Rand (mostly), and Leonard Peikoff. While it is true that some of them seem like trick questions because of the sometimes specific (if not peculiar) meanings attached to otherwise common philosophical concepts, overall, if you read the works, the truths that stay with you are the ones that you understand.
