I am here because I have as yet managed to find anyone in person that understands Objectivism. I have met people that claim to and things haven't gone so well from there. I have a feeling that that is about to change. I look forward to making rationally minded friends & colleagues.

I just wish the US and UK et all would keep out of this. Obama has another agenda and he's more than willing to sacrifice lives to achieve it. My cousin did an interview about him in 2008 and said just that. At the time of the interview people thought his comments were crazy, but he saw Obama for what he is. Call him a marxist - sure..he's still a social mystic.
You are far too kind...Obama is the entire cast of "Dumb and Dumber" all rolled into one body.
Good news as I type: Great Britain parliament has voted to NOT join us in this remake of "Wag the Dog".
This has to put the brakes on our schoolyard pushing match with Syria. Obama wanted to do the dirty by ignoring the Congress, but now has the opening to go to them for approval. That would take enough time (and would not happen, IMHO), to take this off of the front page, and back into the classified sections.
