Kathy Griffin is the Victim
No she's not. I'm being sarcastic. But, if you watch her statement today you might also find that she's really out of touch with reality. It's sad, actually. And, I hope she finds some sort of base, perhaps some principles, to operate from.
Probably damaged the brain but there was no discernible effect.
Champions of humanity. Fairness and equality for all ......unless you disagree with their collectivist philosophy.
Kathy Griffin loves the publicity glow.
Hopefully, she will make an ash of herself and be gone with the wind.
But I don't really think so. Too many Trump-hating snowflakes think they are all persecuted victims and Kathy Griffin may come in handy as a martyr.
Now I'm thinking she would be adored as a speaker at Berkeley. Kathy may even appear with a prop that would gain applause this next time.
Even more is how sad it is that so many of the American people think this is acceptable discourse or entertainment. I can't imagine Bob Hope doing this to FDR in '43 or Red Skelton doing it to JFK in '62 or LBJ in '67. Furthermore, I can't imagine the American people at the time putting up with it, even the ones that didn't like the President at the time. Overton window?
By way of the law of unintended consequences she certainly gave the world a glimpse of her "wicked soul". I, for one, will never be able to hear her name or see her image again without getting a feeling of pure disgust.
As for many of the other "entertainers" of similar ilk, I can only recall the scene from Disney's "Pinocchio", not the part where his nose grows with each lie, but the part where the wood head runs off to become an actor/entertainer, drinks the kool-aid, and morphs into a jackass.
Well...in watching this, how she chuckles at the reporter's question about Barron...I think she's flipped her lid. We might be seeing somebody in real crisis.
Kathy Griffiths"“I’m not afraid of Donald Trump,” Griffin said. “He’s a bully. I’ve dealt with white guys trying to keep me down my entire career. I had learned over the years that sometimes when you do standup, people want a joke that’s out there and a little crazy. I feel horrible. I have performed in war zones. Trust me, if we could redo the whole thing I’d have a blowup doll and ketchup. If you don’t stand up you get run over. …The president and his family are trying to ruin my life forever.”
Speaking directly to the camera, she said “The Donald, it’s me, Kathy,” she said, adding that this will go “right over his nest.” She said he has messed with the wrong redhead. She followed up by calling his hairdo a “parfait” and saying she thinks first lady Melania Trump is no stranger to Nice & Easy hair dye."
On CNN firing her New Year’s Eve standup with Anderson Cooper, she said, “It’s hurtful to me. It’s a bunch of old white guys trying to silence me and that’s wrong.”
